Taking Care of Business /with Tamara Lackey
That course rocked... what I caught of it.
Tiimes here
Is it just me, or are the times listed completely out of whack? I'm Central Standard Time and thought that if it said 1pm PST that I am 2 hours off from that, so 3pm would be the start time. Can someone help me out with this?
not just you...
Desiree, the times are totally screwed up. In fact, I've given up trying to catch any of the classes & have to figure its just a marketing ploy by Creative. I imagine they've run numbers and have an idea how much running the "free" shows will increase their web traffic AND how many of those visitors will get frustrated and just buy the programs. Its the only thing I can figure because making an accurate schedule it truly one of the easiest things in the world. Someone has to almost try to screw it up. Just so you know, my emails on this have been ignored as well.
Wow. They do something nice
Wow. They do something nice for their followers, and you whine and moan and accuse them of marketing ploys.

Woa, you guys rock with this rewatch classes. I already sent an email for D7000 rewatch and Hunter suggested to put a request here. Please, please. I've won this camera at a photo contest, this class is invaluable tool! Thank you and I wish you all green lights.
Twitter and Facebook
It's a bit annoying when most of the organised communication between you (CL) and your watchers/fans is conducted, and limited, to Twitter and Facebook.
Perhaps you don't realise it but there are many, many of us who do not use, and have no wish/intention to use, Twitter and (especially) Facebook!
We refuse to put up our private details so that they become immediately available to anyone who cares use them for their own sometimes nefarious purposes. See e.g. techlicious.com/tip/dont-fall-for-these-facebook-scams/ for just a few.
When are you going to make your offers (including competitions) equally available to non-Twitter and non-Facebook fans? Do you think we are not worthy of them or don't deserve them?
You are losing out on a lot of "likes" because the only way of attributing them is through these (so-called) social organisations.
We'll still keep watching and buying your products but we'd like to feel not so left-out and prejudiced by these social communication networks; whose interests you are promoting by treating us this way!
RE: Twitter and Facebook
I agree with gringuk. There are indeed many, many of us who want nothing to do with "social media" sites.
RE: Twitter and Facebook
I too agree strongly. I never tweet and keep my facebook use to an absolute minimum, so I feel left out from much of what cL offers.
Lewis Howes
I would love to see Lewis Howes' "Launching an online business" again.
S.
I second that!
Lewis Howes' "Launching an online business"
Rewatch
I missed Sarah Petty's branding workshop so I'd LOVE to see a rewatch of that one!
Anything with Tamara Lackey
I completely enjoy creativeLive!!! What an amazing wealth of information you guys have blessed us with!!! I have learned sooo much. I didn't know about you guys until two months ago. Anything with Tamara Lackey would be fantastic!!!!
What a great resource! but what about low-res?
I'm so excited to spend time watching all of these! (but especially looking forward to catching what I missed of the excellent Workflow/Album Design and Lightroom 4 Workflow!) however, lately I haven't been able to watch via creativelive.com/low .... Even though I believe that the higher res version is superior, usually I view from a web cafe, and the high-res has trouble loading on such shared connections. Has this feed been disabled?
also wish for low-res return
I know we can select quality but that has unfortunately never worked for me, choosing anything lower then "best" is totally choppy, while the old low-res channel worked great. Otherwise I have to limit what I watch, i go over the bandwidth limits with my ISP. Thanks!
Launching an online business
I misssed this workshop. Can you please re-broadcast this workshop
Wishlist? Request.
Can your team create a "like" feature on all your past videos, so that I can like videos that I'd like to purchase but can not afford at the moment. This way its kind of a wishlist of vids to purchase.
End of Year Re-Broadcast Request
The business and marketing segments and the 100 poses in an hour from Sue Bryce.
Speedlight 101 - Mark Wallace
I really think that seminar was wonderful and lots of people would benefit to re-watch it, including ME. Besides that, "photoshop for photographers" with Ben Willmore was also a must re-watch.
The class those two guys did
The class those two guys did about dof/iso/aperture settings. It was brilliant and simple, but I forgot it already.
