They sent me a message via Twitter, I nearly fainted and started jumping and down in excitement! lol I spent all day sorting out my visa and flights. Does anyone know the address of the studio so I can book a hotel close by? or if anyone going is booking a hotel let me know ;-p

I don't know for sure where it is but I believe I saw the space needle in the background on some clip or photo outside the studio once... wish I could remember more so I could track that down for you, I'm sure you'll be finding out soon enough though! congrats again :)

EEKKKK!!!!!! I can't believe I've been picked! I don't think I've been this excited since I found out I was having a girl after three boys!! In fact I'm more excited because there's no pain involved!!! lol I'm going to learn so much!!

I'm with you Trudy! I keep checking my twitter too, and I'm not a big tweeter (I don't count all the instagram posts I have on there). I can't wait to find out who gets to go to the workshop live! I wish we all could be there! I think we all had great videos, and it will be a tough decision for Sandy! Here's hoping I get to meet some you guys in person, and not just see your pretty faces online!
it's hard being patient
The order of the videos doesn't appear any different for me, plus I highly doubt they would give it away like that.
I do wonder if the picked students get any kind of warning or we all find out together in the big blog announcement??? I keep obsessively checking my twitter, this site, and CLfacebook, for any bit of happy news.. even though I know they wont make any announcements while the Christa Meola workshop is in progress... it's just sooo hard to be patient. I just want to know whether I'm in or not... my kids also keep asking if I got in, it's sweet and cute of them but makes it hard not to double check! :)

I know how you feel! Mine was a bit of a rush because my husband decided at the last minute to change his flight to South Africa from Tuesday to Friday so he could have an extra weekend so we had to shoot it quickly before he left and he had to edit it there for me. He cut my head off for half of it, which i was not well pleased with but then I guess it's not the top of my head that will be a factor in their decision (I hope!! lol) Anyone have any idea of how/ when they let you know? If I am lucky enough to get picked I need time to organise flights, hotel and a visa! eekkk!! good luck all!! xx
I just knew I would SO regret
I just knew I would SO regret it if I didn't send this video out. especially since these last few months I've been looking around for workshops just like this one since I am so new to the business of photography and babys/ children are what I love to photograph. It couldn't have come at a better time and to top it off I have some Southwest credits I need to use up in a month and I was just going to let them go to waste. I've never had these great odds of winning anything. I wish that we could just all be there. Good luck and hope we hear something soon.

Can't wait to find out who's picked. I can't even look back on my video because I keep thinking what more I would have said, what I would have done differently. But after about 30 takes I just had to pick one and go with it. GOOD LUCK to all.

I noticed that the order of the audition videos are changing, does this have anything to do with the decision process of who gets to go? I keep slipping down the list :-(

jmarqstar65 Thanks for your kind words! Sickness is pretty much gone which is amazing since I turned 29 today and wanted to celebrate in style, which would not have included a puke bowl and box of Kleenex. ;) Best wishes and I hope to meet you in Seattle soon!

Karen -- I totally agree with you! I find it hard to want to be selfish and keep my fingers crossed for myself only because I think everyone totally deserves to be there. Can't wait to see who gets picked. :) Sounds like it will be an awesome experience.
