I finally watched the whole thing and it was good over all. The only thing that was absolutely terrible advice was how he backs things up.

I have had the pleasure to watch a great many Creative Live course. Jared's course on LR workflow is so useful and adds so much value to your understanding of how to move files from the camera to the archive that I have to recommend it as a "must own" in your CL library.

It's worth it's weight in gold PURELY from an efficiency standpoint.

I cannot write this review without getting emotional. Every CL show I've watched has changed my photography in some way, but this one is just... wow. You'll be amazed at how things could be so much easier/nicer for you. Thank you Jared. This is a course I'll watch over and over for the rest of my career. I feel a huge feeling of relief washing over me thanks to this workshop.

This was the first Creative Live workshop that I watched live and bought. Jared comes into his own with Lightroom and really does show everybody how easy it is to use! A must buy for all.

I've never tried LR before and after this course my workflow completely changed, Jared is a great instructor and leads you step by step with great examples into organizing, editing and exporting for all the purposes you need in your photography business. I'm not also saving time, I'm gaining life with this course. Thanks Jared and CreativeLive.

I was out of town in the Mountains of Virgina shooting a family reunion, internet connection was spotty at best so I just took a chance and bought it when I had a signal and am glad I did (went with my gut) great teacher and this is important. I have watched and bought different courses here at creative live and some I wanted to buy but the teacher negated the purchase Jarred does a great job, keep it up Creative Live

This workshop should come standard with every copy of Lightroom. Amazing stuff.

hi all, wow, what a great class, absolutely brilliant, Jared is a fantastic teacher of lightroom 4 he is a mind of information,I have bought the course and I that I can do it justice by learning even half what is in it, thank you so much Jared and a big thank you to creative live for putting on these classes. I am a photographer who is still learning my trade and thanks to creative live it is becoming really easy to learn this way.

Great teacher. Certainly knows his stuff. I learned various new things from the small amount I got chance to see, so have bought the workshop to further enhance and develop my skills.

I have learned a number of things over this 3-day LIVE with Jared. The man is gifted. His Lightroom knowledge is astounding. I don't think I have listened to anyone that seems to have the level of comprehension that Jared displays. Truly incredible!

An amazingly concise yet thorough and totally calm teacher, Jared has taught me so much in this workshop! I already used the comparative selection method and got through two family photo shoots in record time! So happy and now have confidence to also sync settings, make better presets and work more effectively! So worthwhile!

This course is more than a Lightroom workflow class for professional photographers. Jared Platt demonstrates many neat features of Lightroom that do not make it into the basic tutorials. He also gives many practical examples, and his reasoning behind why he does things. I may not completely follow his workflow, but the course has given me a good starting point. I have learned a lot about Lightroom by watching this course.

Well done!! Jared Platt's course organization, delivery and passion for efficient workflow technique make this course a must for anyone wanting to develop a high degree of Lightroom skill.

Never could get a grip on why people talk @ LR vs. PS ... this gives rationale to LR and how/where to split the workload/workflow.

I can now see going from a 0/100 split to at least an 80/20 (or more) ... AND ... by "focusing" my PS efforts to fewer objectives, being able to do the PS work with greater ease/control.

Made sense to an LR newbie. Of course, it is TOO MUCH to remember it all. ;-)

I bought this class because I am learning I have some really bad habits when editing and I am going to continuously review this until I know this system backwards and forwards. Thanks Jared! I am certain you are right that my workflow can become 6 hours instead of the current 12 for a wedding.

Thanks Great Class. Love the myriad of info. Went ahead and purchased both the Class & Jareds Comprehensive presets. FYI Windows/WinZip barked at the inclusion of ">".lrtemplate in the various delineators. Still unsure of some placement areas. Probably, should dawn on me once I rewatch the videos. OH! and I hated it when you pointed directly at me (internet audience) "You should be using Lightroom 4" ..Guilty! haven't upgraded to LR4 yet.

The stream keeps dropping for me, but the content is valuable enough to be worth it. I've just upgraded to LightRoom 4.x and have 3000 wedding photos to cull and edit, so I'm really looking forward to making use of the information he offers.

Usually I'm skeptic about paid courses because youtube and the internet are full of valuable information. After watching day 1 I chose to buy this course because Jareds workflow and professional stance towards the task at hand really gave me valuable inspiration on how to do better, smarter and faster. Also because I'm not able to watch todays and tomorrows stream. Hope this will be as great as yesterdays show. Thanks Jared :)

I thought I knew LR pretty well, but the key to really benefit from it is knowing the workflow. Jared gives a very good example how to establish a professional workflow and I can learn so much watching this. Looking fwd to the next 2 days! I bought it already because I think it's totally worth it.

Once I heard about this workshop I took a look at what Jared had put out there including an excellent B&H talk on YouTube. I figured there couldn't be much more to it than that 1.5 hour talk but after dipping in to day one I can see that there is plenty more to learn and so I've hit the buy key. The schematics alone are worth the fee in my opinion. I'm looking forward to implementing this new workflow when my new laptop arrives in a few weeks.
