Course Suggestions
I'd love to see a thread on Course/Instructor Suggestions. It may help you to know what to gear your show toward in the future. I feel strongly that infant photography (i.e. Keri Meyers and Amy Robertson) is being left out. I realize that Sandy Puc covers a bit of this in her courses, but I would really like to see a very in-depth course from a newborn photographer that is solely on photographing infants. You can bet I'd be paying the $99 for that one!
I would love to see a course on boudoir photography... Lighting, posing, petite & full figured etc. It is something that is creeping into my smaller community and would love some instruction as only CL can give :)

Just like many of you, I would LOVE to see a NEWBORN photography course. An in depth course focusing on Newborn safety, safe posing, lighting, prop preparation and Baby calming techniques! KERI MEYER award winning newborn photographer out of Seattle would be my pick!! She is a master in Newborn photography and already offers live courses all over the country so this would be a great platform for her. She also founded "NewbornPhotography.com" for newbies and experts to thrive in their biz and connect! she's awesome!!
I would like courses of making beautiful presentations using Powerpoint, Prezi. Courses on productivity tips with MS Excel too.
I would LOVE to see a newborn live workshop just like this wedding one, using tiny baby models and focusing on SAFE posing, composites and lighting. Blue Dandelion Photography would be my pick of hosts, she is my ALL TIME FAVORITE newborn photographer.
I would love to see a food photography workshop demonstration.
I would love to see a course in macro photography.
lighting-close up work.
I would love to see John Greengo do a beginner /advanced Nikon D700 and Nikon D 4 workshop .
I realize the D700 is no longer in production but there are many many using that camera.
I would certainly buy those courses.
I would love to see Jack Davies come back for a week long course on Lightroom, photoshop and art... or 3 courses 3 days each! He was amazing Loved his style I would also like to see the instructor who did the doll houses come back too with his own 3 day course. Really loved and enjoyed the new instructors during photoshop week! Would really love to see inDesign classes and Illistrator and Premiere classes.. and done with instructors like these! Real pros! Everyone of them!JUst not at the same time. Money and art the same day is fine.. but not classes that are on the same subject. I would rather see one day courses with each instructor and maybe it two weeks of adobe! Thanks for the education!
Hi there, i'd like to suggest one of the masters of retouching and digital image workflow: the one and only "Guy Gowan" :)
hi
I would love to see a course about building a website with options for those who have no clue of HTML.
I'd like to see a course put on by the CreativeLIVE production team: how they film the shows, how they setup audio, equipment used, etc.
I'd like to see a Jessica Drossin class. She's all about incorprating textures she creates into her work. Her work/vision is very artistic and unique editing style.

Alex Beadon Photography, she is a fantastic and creative portrait photographer. Insane photoshop skills too.
A course on Phase One's Capture One Pro 7 the worst documented piece of software ever!
Joel Grimes, commercial photographer. I may have already suggested him, but he does a lot of compositing work and is very open about his techniques.
How can you guys overlook Jerry Ghionis. I have heard a lot about his 5 days workshop lets bring him to creativeLive with the same contants of his workshop, teaching outdoors, hotels and unusal location about lighting and posing.

Dan Frievalt teaching Creating Artistic Montages and Composites - Including Dan photographing images for these would be Great too!
I would love to see a course offered by JEFF ASCOUGH on wedding photojournalism that will teach how to make classic and truly timeless work.
I'd really love a course on classic pinup photography. I love how Vixen Pinup Photography gets the classic look of that style.

It'd be really nice to learn all the techniques of her style.
I would love to see a course by Australian fashion photographer Peter Coulson. I have done a couple of his lighting workshops in Melbourne, and he is very generous with his time and knowledge in regards to posing/communication with models, lighting and more. I would have done more courses if I hadn't moved to Canada.
There have been a lot of questions around the "Interwebs" around taxes. Doing something related to taxes, bookkeeping, invoicing, balancing, paperwork workflow, etc. would be great.
Has the CreativeLive team considered an action sports photography course? Would love to see that! Anything ranging from covering photography of mountain biking, climbing, skiing / snowboarding, surfing, etc. Cover techniques and marketing.
I would love to see either a course from Trey Ratcliff on HDR, or on WordPress. Trey has loads of educational material as it is, but there could be a large audience with him. He's always doing international shoots... maybe a chance to send CL abroad? :)
And with WordPress... it is so overwhelming navigating the plugins and themes, it could be nice to have even a 1-day course. Or maybe a course on blogging in general?
Does "creative" extend to include copywriting and/or editing? Would love to see courses like these offered: www.editorialbootcamp.com/
I would love a workshop for the photographer starting a professional photography business. Topics to include: building a portfolio, determining your target market, finding clients, creating a pricing structure and its evolution through the building of the business, determining product offerings, legal and business issues including invoicing, contracts, insurance, establishing a budget and business plan, timelines for implementation, copyright, logos, website and blogs, etc. The cr8.lv workshops are amazing for developing skills but I feel they are a bit geared towards the person who is already established rather than the person that is trying to get into the industry and build a business.

Would love to see more fashion photography courses(loved Lindsey Adler and Lara Jade), ESPECIALLY with Russell James, photographer of Victoria's Secret. He's super fun and always willing to teach everyone!
I would love to see Stephanie Robin from Ontario Canada, who was recently awarded NAPCP Photographer of the year.
I'd love to see an in depth course on live streaming. I've recently begun working on a fortnightly live music webcast and am trying to get it to a similar quality as Creative Live.
I'm gradually getting there but I've struggled to find any decent, accurate advice on subjects such as syncing sound with video (sound always seems to be slightly ahead of the visuals!), bit rates, using FMLE (or alternatives) and generally getting a stream from being a basic twitcam feed to a professional looking high definition stream.
The Creative Live team obviously have a lot of experience in this field so it would be great to learn from them!
Julianne Kost I would pay for a five day (ok the dream) or a three day Photoshop workshop with her! Have been using her classes through Adobe but loved her short course on CLNYC and would really love to see her with her own class on CL!!! Thanks!!
As a creative, photo/video, I'd like to look at another topic - hardware! More importantly, storage. Chase Jarvis once did a video on his hardware and workflow but something that is catered to the individual photography/small studio would be ideal. I'm sure this is a challenge for many and most photographers are probably 'at risk' based on their storage plan/environment.
Personally, I just want recommendations on hardware now that I need to expand due to storage requirements.
Thanks!
I would like to see a course utilizing a mainstream photographer, on shooting men and boys. Most of the male models involved in past photo sessions have been secondary to the topic... Families, pets, weddings. Sue Bryce just did a brilliant job of bringing out the beauty of females, from adolescents to seniors, but none of her instructions translate at all to shooting males.
Thank you so much for all the courses. I would like to see in ceativelive Keri Meyers new born, Joel Grimes.
Thank you
Ditto!!! I REALLY want a newborn course!
