I'm not really good at stuff like video editing software but I found an article discussing something about what gomezphotograph was saying. From what I read in there, many longtime customers of Apple's Final Cut Pro non-linear video editing software were upset when the business upgraded to Final Cut Pro X last summer. The software has been a staple for video editors, pro and novice, since 1998. But the new edition is incompatible with files from old versions of the software, and the interface has been completely redesigned. Apple released upgrade 10.0.3 Tues in an attempt to correct some of the problems. Source for this article: New update for FCP X addresses user complaints

I bought Final Cut Pro X and it just SUCKS! I tried to get a refund but Apple would not. It locks up my computer all the time with 8 Gigs of Ram and the latest update and processor. Get Premier Instead. I have been all over the web and have seen so many people with the same issues I have had. I downloaded Premier and Love it . Im going to get it soon. Some times you have to pay the price to get the good stuff. Apple wants to cater to the a matures these days in digital editing. Im also the proud owner of www.finalcutproxsucks.com and will be posting it soon with other peoples issues and the poor way I was treated by Apple when I was not satisfied with it. Apple likes to put the blame on your computer or others when it come to the FCPX issues.
