Learning the foundations IS business

Because knowing our tools instinctively IS our business. I think I still have a lot to learn... what about you?

I agree 100%, Kenna, with Zack's emphasis on the foundations and fundamentals of photography. He reminds me (in this way and others) of my sophomore year Electrical Engineering professor who drilled us in the fundamentals. He was so right to insist that you can't be great or even good until you have a strong and stable foundation upon which to stand.
