SEO help
What's your single best SEO tip for my blog? need traffic!!!
Something that I have learnt over the years is traffic is worthless if your website doesn't convert. What I mean by this is there is no point having 100 people come to your site a day if only 2 of them convert. Here is a good article to help you get started with converting your traffic.
However to answer your question to get traffic to your site you need to either rank your page higher on the Goggle SERPs or post something for example an article or info picture that is interesting which will be shared though social networks.
if you want complete knowledge of seo you can take it from seo tips it contains complete knowledge of seo and types of seo like black hat seo white hat seo link building etc.........
Justin mentioned taking your blog name out of something and it will help move you up the SEO rankings in a big way. Anyone remember what that was? His example was that you could move up from page 50 to 15 or something like that. Thanks!
Need traffic or need good online presence? The two are not the same. SEO isn't some magic sauce you sprinkle on a site and it instantly becomes better.
SEO helps your site be found. All in One SEO plugin can help with this.
However, traffic is useless if your site is not populated with good and useful content and a focused and concise manner in which people are informed and educated about your products and services.
If all you want is traffic to drive up advertisement revenue, you can google traffic and find plenty of providers. :)
If you want customer traffic, then you will need to determine what your message/service/product is, and find the best way to sell your service/product/message on your site.
Check out Justin's CreativeLIVE session on social concepts for photographers. It will help in this regard.
I agree "content is the king". Register your site on www.seomoz.org
sorry, mistake. I was saying register your site on www.dmoz.org
keep putting up new content and make sure that you have registered your site with google. Make a site map for it to crawl. It may not even know you are out there.
I like and use All in One SEO plugin. It's also one of Justin's favorites.
