Okay, so the first time I heard about CreativeLive was on a flight from Florida to California and I saw someone watching the video on their ipad. It was amazing. Now that I have my own HD video capable DSLR, I'm finding myself at a loss of non-linear editing of video footage(mpeg4 and AVCHD v2.0).

I can import into iMovie... if I want everything converted over into DV format.

What are good alternatives out there? Both free and $$$? :)

I recently discovered OpenShot on Linux(Ubuntu 11.10) which I'll give a try and see if it can't do non-linear editing on the raw mpeg4 and AVCHD formats...
