creativeLIVE is looking for talented and smart Senior Software Engineers to join our growing team in our brand new San Francisco office. You and your colleagues will be tasked with building our premier online learning platform. As part of the engineering team, you will be forging a new frontier in learning applications and have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an exciting company and talented technical team as one of our very first engineering hires.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop the next generation of learning applications for the creativeLIVE platform
• Work with cross-functional development teams to roll out new software releases using continuous integration
• Drive the design and build out of a new platform for online learning, including applications such as real-time chat, social learning and mobile video
• Write high quality applications that can achieve massive scale
• Instrument applications for real time monitoring and redundancy

Qualifications

• Proven experience with full stack development for a high volume web application
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery, and ideally a good understanding of Node.js
• Ability to architect complex web applications using frameworks and APIs
• Experience with different datastores such as MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment with talented designers and product managers
• A passion for learning
