Craft Studio Tour: Behind the Scenes at Foamy Wader

Jewelry Studio Tour: Go behind the scenes at Foamy Wader

Alexa Allamano is the creative talent behind the seaside-inspired handmade jewelry company, Foamy Wader in Seattle, WA.

Foamy Wader sells delicate handmade jewelry that mixes natural gemstones, precious metals, artisan wire work, and metal smith techniques.

Back in 2008 Alexa left a button-down career in banking to create art and cultivate Foamy Wader. Since then she’s travelled the world selling at craft fairs and growing her business. Foamy Wader is sold through an Etsy shop, her own online store, and her boutique flagship storefront.

Her light-filled shop is a goldmine of rock specimens, beach-combed treasures, and the sophisticated jewelry she hammers out in the back of the shop.

In late 2015, Alexa opened up her workspace to the CreativeLive team and let us take a look around.

She shared the artwork that inspires her, the heritage that shaped her, and the tools that allow her to transform raw materials into delicate delights. Take a peek in the video below:
