Planning a wedding takes lots of time — and creates a lot of stress. Do you really want to leave the details up to a verbal discussion at a time when the client is not only under a lot of stress but already has quite a few other things to remember? A contract helps make sure that both parties remember everything they discussed, exactly as they discussed it.
