Thanks of course the internet for joining in I am so excited that everyone's here of course my name is julia kelleher and I want to first talk to you about who out there you guys will benefit from this class, okay? This is pretty we were talking about it being kind of a niece class, you know that could super focused into babies and stuff and I kind of agree with that on one hand but on the other hand I don't think so I think it can apply to so many different types of photographers and what I'm going to be teaching you is a really almost blonde proof system, a seven steps system for developing and creating baby planning, your studio and those seven steps really if you think about it can be applied to almost any area of your business, which is why I'm really excited to teach this content because I think it applies to a lot of different areas but of course in the obvious way newborn photographers are gonna benefit greatly from this course right? Because you guys have babies coming in the ...
door and you want to keep him so we're you know, clearly you're kind of the typical audience for this kind of class, but I think wedding photographers, those of you who are out there who do weddings and I know carmen does weddings you're getting those mamas calling you going were pregnant, you know? So it's the baby coming in after the wedding and it's kind of a natural progression. So I think wedding photographers can benefit greatly from this course, especially if you plan to kind of expand your offerings and begin. You're doing something that's other than just weddings in your studio. You want to graduate to portrait's and do something a little bit more, you know, the nice thing about babies don't work weekends, which is just great, maybe that's. Yeah, anyway, anybody want to talk first? God bless you, you guys are amazing, but I just couldn't work the weekends like that, of course, child and family photographers, you know, you want this baby, a baby plan can be such an exclusive, lovely thing. It could be this little area of your business that becomes this gem, that your clients all kind of feel proud to be a part of it. If it's branded such, then it can be really successful in that regard, of course, photographers who are just kind of stuck in a rut and don't really know where to go with babies. Onda, of course, studio owners also who are struggling with their current baby offerings and baby plans, I'm going to really help you kind of revamp it, and structure and fine tune your baby plan in ways that make it kind of unstoppable that make it it works every time those of you have taken my classes before you know I am all about profit which sounds really bad I don't I don't mean it like that it is about money right though I mean about making money doing what you love and so I'm all about creating systems that keep you efficient they keep you probable but at the same time really build a beautiful brand and make your plant clients love you and make you love what you do does that resonate does that make sense? It's kind of exciting to think about so what we have learned this class well we're going to learn the step by step roadmap to create a successful baby plan we're going to learn how to make a baby plan profitable and successful how to encourage clients of course to finish the plan how to create a unique product line for baby plan which I think is so crucial to this process and it's really almost like the magic bullet if you were going to teach you how to think about product development of product lines so differently that you're I was going to think about your baby plan in ways that you don't think about other sessions okay so on I think that's one of the critical moments in this course is really developing a product land product line that gets your clients to come back okay? And I think that's what's going to be on one of the wake up or lightbulb moments? I think in this class at least, I hope it is, of course, how to price and package it right? For consistent sales. We want our client to spend at each baby plant session and that's. What I think is so hard about baby plans is that you get the client of the first time they're super excited and the second time things can't go on, they die off in the end, right? And sometimes it's hard to even get your client to finish the baby plan, but if you price it and package it right and have a beautiful product line that makes you think about products differently, it's a whole day for story, let me tell you that, okay? And then finally, how to create an easy, efficient system for your baby plan. These people are with you an entire year more. So you have to create systems in your studio that help you get through that and keep it all organized. There's nothing worse than being on the year session of the cake smashing you can't find the four month images I mean whoo! Scary monsters, right, okay. We're also going to learn shooting, posing and designing for charming first your images and how to keep it consistent with your brand and other areas of your business whether you're a new born photographer or a wedding photographer or even a high school senior photographer and granted those two lines are completely different but we're going to talk about how to separate those and differentiate them or if you are a newborn photographer how to keep those in line and how to really make it seem like it's from the same studio we're going to discuss understanding ages in stages and you know which ages and stages should you shoot there's definitely a strategic thinking there how many sessions did you do in a baby plan? Uh those are all really important questions that helped to find maker break the success of the plan we're going to discuss image and client organization of course for the year long term we're going to talk about effective policies for the year long relationship like I said, this is a yearlong process so I want you guys to all of a sudden stop thinking about one single session that's the first thing you need to get out of your head a baby plan is a year long relationship or more so you have to start envisioning it as that with a sequence of small steps in between the sessions are within the bigger group does that make sense so once you start expanding your thinking on what may be planets all about it's going to make you approach it business wise in a whole different way, okay, of course we're going to talk about how to create a branded collateral for your baby plans should you put make new collateral? Should you price things separately for baby plan versus your, you know, other offerings in your studio that's kind of a touchy question, and I have a lot of answers for you on that and what works and what doesn't and the pros and cons of both and ultimately it is up to you and how you run your business and kind of your decision making system, what works for you, but I'm going to give you kind of different options and then tell you what struggles we've gone through in our studio, doing it different ways and what we finally kind of come to work for us, but that doesn't mean that different ways can't work for other people, so we're going to examine the pros and cons of the different methods and hopefully by the end of this, you'll have ah, really clear grasp of what's gonna work for you and of course, launching your baby plan and market it to the world um marketing it with your purpose and I know you guys have all heard me talk about purpose in the past it's huge in business so we're gonna discuss that as well. So what is it gonna do for you? This is the part why should you care about this class? Well, number one it will differentiate yourself. Okay, baby plans done right are very rare not a lot of people could you be with them because they give up on them because it seems like overwhelming it seems like a lot of work to plan for all that and I want teo get you the point where you're really comfortable with it so that you can differentiate yourself above and beyond the other folks in your market you're going to create images that are fresh and inspiring to you. I know when I started my baby plan just a few years ago I had been shooting newborns for a while and I was kind of bored you guys feel a little bit bored at times john's like, heck no, I love baby there you create yeah, you guys all know I'm a little crazy but anyway, uh but you know, you kind of you will eventually dawn's work, but donna, you were in my last the last works were you on the one before that in the newborns? One and I don't think capturing connect, but her work like that class was in december. Her work since december has just skyrocket is just blowing me away. She's done such a good job improving so she's still in that kind of fresh I love this eventually your two on the road when you've kind of done it all come on some fresh and new and that's really one of baby plan is awesome for your going toe. I want to do something different with your work and bringing in, and you've already created this beautiful relationship with your newborn clients if you are a newborn photographer and so you're gonna want to keep that going right, especially with the ones you love and trust me, there's some people I won't let join my baby, but no, you can't join my mind don't even talk about it to those people if you want those clients. Yeah, I've got him too. Um, but anyway, the goal is to create images that are fresh, of course and inspiring to you and also create a healthy resource of repeat business. You guys all know the adage. What is it? Eighty percent of your business comes from twenty percent of your clients, and that is across the board with any business that you do okay, any industry eighty percent of your business comes from twenty percent of your loyal evangelist clients and these people, especially if they came from your newborn offerings they are repeat clients and they are going to bring you your bucks and even if your baby plan sessions average slightly lower then say your newborn or your seniors or you're family sessions or whatever that's okay there's still repeat clients and you guys know how it is that the repeat clients you have how fun are they work with? They love you they adore you nothing you do is wrong you adore them, you become part of their family and all of a sudden it's like it's really fun to be in business, right? So I wantto create a healthy resource for you of clients who keep coming back to you and then once they graduate from the baby plan, they're so in love with you and want to marry you that they come back annually for sessions and then all of a sudden you don't have to do any work marketing because it all starts to become this word of mouse snowball down the hill. So I'm going to inject some new blood and you guys in some new life to help create this system so you can create a good resource of healthy resource of good clients, okay? And who doesn't want this right increased income over with the reliable long term now there are some drawbacks to a baby plan and I'm going to explain those in a second you can overdo it with clients you can have too many baby planners and I know those of you who starting out or like, oh, I don't care any ball the clients I can get you know and I get that and I understand but you need to plan for the future and watch out because if you make your baby plans so attractive and it becomes a lower average and you have so many baby planners that they're overrunning your other clients you're in trouble and I don't want you to get that part either and you may not believe that that's true that without what happened but and I'm it does happen and I'm almost there like I'm about to cut off my baby planners because we're doing five to six baby planners a month right now on top of eight to ten newborns plus our family sessions and kind of other stuff and I'm staying here well, I think this is too much okay, so we're going to talk about that and howto kind of stay that off and prepare for it right now when you're starting out you know, care I mean you just want clients left and right who cares? You know, money, money, money, right? But I want you to think about and prepare for the fact that that may not always be the case and you're gonna have to start being selective and creating a system in your studio that prepares for that and when it does come, you can control it. Okay, okay. Let's. See, what else is this costume interview, of course, could expand your product line and grow your brand. You are going to use this step by step approach in other areas of your business. I promise. Okay, I am all about systems and efficiency. I'm all about profit.
