Roadmap for Building a Professional Brand Overview

Brandon is a cornerstone of success for every business and that's why we stress the importance of it at the shark group. It's been the secret to success throughout Damon's career as an entrepreneur, author and investor and having a strong brand will allow you to create deep connections with your consumers, will also transform your business from simply selling products to something so much more with all that said branding is absolutely essential for anyone looking to get their social media accounts off the ground and take it to the next level. Having worked with thousands of small businesses, if you ask me, what's the number one thing most of them get wrong when attacking social media is, it's actually something that isn't even social media related. It's that they don't have their company's branding figured out yet and clearly defined. Some people just haven't taken the time to get their branding established. Others have an idea of what their company's brand is in their heads, but it do...

esn't come across in the company's messaging or actions. These small businesses try to skip this crucial foundational step and jump right into posting without having a clear compass or direction. Like I just said, this isn't a social media problem. This will continue to be a problem for business as they look to send out emails, create sales pitches, go to conferences and trade shows, and really every aspect of the business. So Brandon is so much more than a logo, it's about communicating what you stand for as a brand without this clear direction, about what your brain is all about, what it stands for and what it means to your customers. You don't have a solid foundation. I've been with Damon building his social media presence from day one, just like you, we start with zero followers and built from scratch. We focus on building brands for the long term, and in this module we're going to teach you the best of what we've learned, whether you're new to social media or you have a solid brand and you're looking to level up this module will help you create a powerful brand to help you stand out and succeed. Here's an overview of what we'll learn in this module. First, Damon will teach you the branding fundamentals, so you can position yourself as an authority in your industry and open the doors to new opportunities. After learning from Damon, you'll complete a branding exercise, you can get clear on how you want to position and pitch your social media presence. Then you'll learn how to identify your ideal audience so you can create content that they want to engage with. Remember this is a representation of your perfect customer or opportunity, this is the person you want to connect with and have them know like and trust you and ideally by from you or hire you. At the end of this lesson, you will learn how to optimize each social media platform so you can gain followers and interactions even when you're not online. Now head over to the first lesson to get started with David.
