So here are some of the types of facebook contest you can do you could do a pop quiz trivia type contest where if it's possible for you to tie in that trivia question to the general theme of your products, ask them something silly based on tv show that relates back to your brand or a band or may be part of your own ah company history, you know asked them to kind of do a little research or if they are a loyal follower of you, they might know that answer, but there are so many like trivia is one of those things that a lot of people like rights kind of a thing that we like to play with so that could potentially be your next give away or contest on facebook for something like this it's best if you do still have a picture of the question and the trivia the pop quiz or trivia question should probably go in the text, but if you can fit in the picture, that would be great too, but definitely have a photo to go along with it. hoto and this is just a general rule whenever you're doing social media posts, try to avoid just doing just regular text post text posts those don't do as well just make sure there's a picture attached to it you could also do the first person to blank so ah great example you could use is take a picture of one of your products for example or the shape of an animal or whatever it is and then blur it out and then you can ask your fans the first person to guess what's behind this blurred photo winds the price and then you get a whole bunch of people leaving comments saying like it's a rabbit no it's a dog and that can be kind of fun you could also do kind of like a treasure hunt contest or give away which I've seen other companies do before which can seem kind of cool if you have your own website even if you don't have your own web site you could probably do it on etc to if you wanted to but basically to spell it out it's kind of like an easter egg treasure hunt sort of thing where you tell them a clue for where to find the first treasure and then that clue will link them to for example a product listing on your web site or on your deep sea shop and then that easter egg will link them to another clue that will bring them to a different product listing so in a way it's kind of great where they follow along and they kind of explore your shop and see all the cool stuff that you make and then once the first person who reaches reaches the last easter egg we'll get some special message that they can then come back and b here's the last message I found a lot of effort I found the last easter egg first and that would be kind of fun for people to follow along this your typical like and comment your standard facebook contest this is the one that I just do all the time because it's so easy to d'oh it's funny because it used to be where shares were allowed and then they weren't allowed I think this was back in two thousand twelve where the facebook terms of service changed it so you're not a lot to do shares and it's funny because people are so accustomed to sharing that even if you say that you don't have to share even if you say just like in comment people are still going to think that oh, I need to share this and they're going to voluntarily share it with people so that's kind of cool you could also do the last person to comment contest or give away and I've seen other facebook groups do this with tremendous success it's crazy because everyone's going to want to top the next person everyone's going to be the last person to leave a comment and what you can do then is you just tell them you're just going to randomly pop in and just stop it and you can be the last person to leave a comment and the one right before you will be the winner so it's, in a way random, but it makes them keep going and you're going to get a time of comments from doing that. You could also have people leave a photo as a comment. So when I seen that other people have done to is post a picture post the last picture that you've taken with your iphone on here and then you can just choose from the best or the funniest one that people have posted and it's kind of funny and cute too to see like what were the left, what was the last image that people took with their phone if they if they dare to share it? So here is an example of one of my more successful giveaways, and we talked about this in my workshop on how to start a subscription business, so I was giving a away a year's worth of necklace of a year's worth of the subscription to my necklace of the month club, which is a subscription that I do for my business tiny hands and all it says here, so notice there is just a collage of all the different products of past necklace of the months, and then I spell out this is a giveaway to enter you can do this this and this and the text description itself and spelling out this is what you're winning. This is the value of this prize. It is a year long give a very long subscription worth one hundred fifty dollars to enter, do this these things, and then one winner will be randomly chosen on december thirty first midnight central you must be eighteen or older to enter open to residents on lee. One thing I wanted to note is this is a great chance for you to also plug your website because you're getting so much visibility for this giveaway. So many people are it's just it's going viral, so many people are sharing it so many people are telling their friends about the chance for them to win this awesome giveaway and so it's a great way for you to plunk your website where most peace so many people are looking at it, right? Yes, that's a great question. And I would totally do that if you want to. If you have the budget to I always recommend doing that. So in terms of targeting, I would reach out to your friends of fans. And if you want tio actually turn it into an ad. If you remember, you have the workshop to selling on social media, there's the whole part where I showed you walk through on how to create engagement and it's using the actual manage as section, so not actually going to boost posts so you can do that and target that and two people who have specific interests. So other people who, like, you know, maybe like that tv show that you were talking about earlier, and I don't know who are divorced. You can probably also select that as a relationship status. So go in there and really get targeted with that. But, yeah, that's a great idea to actually boost it. Should I refresh it again just one more time?
