Using Zoom in Personal Mode

So we took a look at how you can use backgrounds and emergent view to uplevel your brand awareness and background on zoom. Now let's take a look at how it could look in your home office. So here we have one of several devices made for Zuma rooms called the D. 10 me. And what I like about this device is it looks like a monitor and it sits on your desk. It's got clean lines. And as a matter of fact when you're not in a zoom meeting it'll double as a second monitor for your laptop keeping your work space clean and clear. So let's take a look at what this device can do for us. So as you can see here on the screen I set up this device to be on my zoom account. Therefore without logging into zoom I can see my upcoming calendar. I can join meetings right from here. I can also create meetings by pressing this orange dot and I can use my personal meeting idea to call someone hot hak. I also can join a meeting with this button, it was not scheduled in my calendar so perhaps a colleague of mine s...

ends me a chat and says hey join this meeting I. D. I can click here and I can join the meeting I. D. By pressing the buttons and hitting join next. I want to talk about zoom phone. So if your company elects to use zoom as their phone carrier this makes the process so much easier because now at my desk at home I no longer have the need for a physical phone. I can take my assigned phone number from zoom and use my zoom room device as my phone. And you can see it's a fully functional phone system here. I have my voicemails. I have my phone number. I can actually pull up my directory internal. So in my case at zoom I have all my contacts right here. I can even call any number anywhere I want from this phone kiosk. If I minimize this, talk about collaboration, let's talk about whiteboard. Most zoom at home devices have whiteboard built right in so I can hit one button to launch a white board and have up to five point touch. So if I have a creative spur, I'm I'm collaborating with some colleagues. I can draw on this whiteboard right from here with five point touch. Actually save it and send it to my email or my chat. So I'm gonna close the white board now without saving it and talk about two more cool features with this at home device number one, I can share content from my laptop or my device without being in a zoom meeting. So if I had someone in my office and I wanted to show the presentation I'm working on, I have a sharing key. So I hit share content and I can actually pull up the sharing key and why don't you share content to this zoo monitor. If I'm in a meeting, I can use the same button to share to the rest of my team who might be at different locations. And again, that sharing key is also located in the top right of the machine, so you don't even have to open this menu to give someone the key to share their devices. So let's say we're in a finance meeting and the financial financial officer wants to share the spreadsheet to go over the P and L. So you can just type in the sharing key, hit share. And the device will allow it to go to the screen to the zoom meeting with one button touch. So this is an example of zoom room in personal mode for your at home office.
