Conclusion

Okay, so my last bit of advice for you as you start your new habit of drawing, is to keep with it. Um, like anything new is going to feel awkward and foreign, and your pencil is gonna feel weird in your hand. You're gonna feel like these first couple drawings were actually drawn with your feet, but I promise you, the more you do it, the more comfortable you're going to feel, you're going to see progress, and that is so worth it. And then that's, when the habit really fully forms, because you start seeing the benefits of it. But you've got to kind of push through those first few days, those first few weeks, and keep it going so you can make piles of drawings. So thank you for joining me today, and thank you for entering my studio world, and you can find more of me and my work at kate bingaman. Bert dot com, thanks so much.

Class Description

Get off your computer and play! Drawing the Everyday Every Day is your guide to exploring your creativity and integrating a drawing habit into your daily routine.

In this class, you’ll learn:

  • How to develop themes for your drawings
  • Options for presenting your content: zines, prints, instagram, etc.
  • Ways to add color to black and white drawings using Photoshop

Kate will inspire you to explore the everyday by simply drawing what's around you. It is okay if it is completely about your own experiences – in the particular lies the universal.

It doesn’t matter whether you think you “can draw” or not, everyone has a story to tell and you can learn how to tell yours and get drawing inspiration from Kate Bingaman-Burt in Drawing the Everyday Every Day.
