Starting your own photography business can be a daunting prospect. But you can’t let all of the details, challenges, and hurdles stop you from going after your dream. Join Karen Okonkwo, the entrepreneur and co-founder of the stock photography company TONL, as she explains all of the issues you will need to consider before starting your business.

In this class, you’ll learn how to:

  • Choose the right business structure for your company.
  • Determine your start-up costs and profit models.
  • Construct a strong and sensible business plan.

The best way to ensure that your business is successful and profitable is to plan it out carefully and strategically. This class will help you design a solid roadmap that puts you on a path to success.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR:

Karen Okonkwo is a Nigerian-American and Seattle-based serial entrepreneur who co-created TONL with the intention of infusing diversity within the stock photography industry. While creating for her previous business, The Sorority Secrets, she found it surprisingly difficult to obtain images that captured diversity. In August 2017, Okonkwo collaborated with Joshua Kissi, a New York-based photographer and co-founder of the creative agency Street Etiquetteto launch TONL. TONL, strives to transform the idea of stock photography by displaying images of diverse people and their stories around the world.
