New Galleries in The Web Module

the Web module, so you may or may not know. Um, the Web module has not gotten a lot of love in the last few versions. A light room now. I mean, it did it under the underneath. It actually got a lot of love and light room five. But that was really just to kind of keep it working and set it up. Teoh work better for what it's gonna do now, but we've got our Web module here. Click over on the Web module on the right hand side. You could see it's going, Teoh. It's gonna create a Web module for you. What? You're going to see the biggest differences over in the layout style. All those flash galleries are gone. So the flash galleries, which you know flash gets it gets a It's a bad word these days in many cases, but all those flash galleries have gone to the come with zooming in and the little rotating things those are all gone. But what you do get are you get grid square and track. So good galleries gonna be exactly what you think. You know, a grid of your photos, you've got square gallery, wh...

ich is gonna be kind of like track, but just squares and then track gallery, which is a lot of what we see online today. As you start to scroll through here, it's not necessarily fitting anyone photo into a space eso. You'll have almost that masonry type of a looking one photo. Bayer smaller, bigger, and it kind of looks like bricks laid on top of each other. Of course, you can go change all the colors of all those things. You can change the height of all the different photos. Right now I have it showing my water marks. I can take that watermark often there. You'll see that there's some presets over here, so there's dark and there's light light, simple square light on the track gallery and then your track gallery your default one. If you go in and you tweak any of the background colors or any of that stuff, you can know we save it as a preset so that it shows up on your use your templates, and you don't have to go through and do it over and over again. And if for some reason you absolutely loved the classic galleries, which who doesn't love When you click on the classic gallery who doesn't love the classic gallery? The Little Square like Hey, you know my favorite one always was my favorite one was Did they take it away? They took it away. Congratulations. The mossy Rock Moscow Over Mossy Rock was my favorite one, but that's really followed very closely by Dark Poppy Seed. Yeah, that's some pretty stylist they call this dark poppy seed. I call it Bumble Bee, but But you do have your classic calories if you need to get back to it. So very nice burn you like room gallery stuff. And of course, you can upload it all works like it did. You can upload straight to your website. You know, it's interesting that by the time uh, the Web module got any love, all of the public, all of the publishing services got so amazing with all of the other, with SmugMug and whatever that you don't even need a Web gallery. So I know it's kind of interesting, but there are. There are plans for the future. I'm sure there are plans for the future, and I will say the one thing that late room has going for Is that especially not necessarily Web module. But when you work with Light Ra Mobile and your collections and everything, that automatically creates websites running for you, and then people can comment and do things on those website that gets that gets sent right back here. So it's not a Web model thing. It's more of, ah, light room tablet thing. And that's one of the reasons to go with light room Sisi, as opposed to light from six. Because you have a connection to the creative cloud, which then connects you to Lighter Mobile, which allows for gallery proofing to your client. And then they can comment, and it comes back to your IPad into your yes, pretty cool Sprinkle. So that's that the advantage of being on the creative cloud.

A great intro, this class convinced me to get the Lightroom/Photoshop software on the monthly basis. Mr. Platt is very good at presenting the subject matter and getting you interested in doing more, both in camera and with post processing. Great job guys!
