Welcome New Members

So in this chapter, I want to show you how you can build guiding principles and rules to help you moderate and build a thriving community where the most important traits of a good and healthy community is making new members feel welcome. Think about the last time you went to an event or in a group setting, it made a huge difference when someone introduced you to new members and that's exactly what you want to do with your new members. You want to build a similar experience. And what I usually do is have a welcome post and tag all of the new members at least once or twice a week, depending on the size of your group. How often you welcome New members will depend on how many requests you're getting every week, every day, but you want to do it at least once a week. So this is an example of a post, we publish an attack and new members. This is how facebook allows you to attack everyone automatically. And we usually do is either tag everyone have a strong image with also text. You can also h...

ave a video or multiple images to welcome people and direct them to all the different sources so that they can actually take advantage of everything that you have within your group as new members. And the way you publish that welcome message to new members. You go to more, you go to your member section and here you're gonna be able to write a welcome post. In this case we just have one. But if I do write welcome post, it's gonna tag the person automatically so I don't have to do it, you know, one by one. And then it lets me create that welcome post at those images, that text that I've already built posted and welcome new members. Welcoming new members is very important. It's going to make new members feel welcome, increase the chances of them engaging in making that first post, the first comment, interacting and also helping them feel comfortable publishing and interacting with other members.
