Day 2 Wrap-Up

Do you have any final thoughts for the day or final thoughts? For the last two days? Three. Only thing I wanted to mention is what's included with the course is my keynote presentation. So all of my slides were included in that my vendor list. So if anyone missed vendors and I might have not named some of my vendors, that's included in there, and then my, um, front desk script is included in there. So and it's not a literal script around the phone like robots, but it's just to hit all those points. How did you hear about us? Oh, great. What were you thinking? Indoor session. Outdoor session? Well, this is how everything works. Just so you know, our creation fee is nonrefundable and just all the script things that we say and all the notes that we take, So those things are all included in the course. So in our guy. No, I'm kind of your spot here, but if you could just boil down really the essence of what makes your business work. What, you want people to take away from the last two days,...

whether they're just beginning to be put photography. Where they're incorporated into their wedding business. You know that with pets in the wedding party, sure, Or if they're professional, their professional studio already. If you could just leave us with some partying wisdom around that, well, it's just It's really all about the experience that you're giving your clients. And just remember, people wanna work with people they like, and your clients are going to come back to have so many clients who come to me just for, like their grandkids air in town. No pets in the portrait, But they want to come to me because I'm their photographer and it doesn't matter that I don't photograph kids all the time. They're like, Oh, hi. No, you're gonna do a great job even though I'm like Oh my gosh, there's toddlers. But to them, they're just like we love working with you. We want to work with you, so just make sure that you really harvest those relationships and again just don't give into the craziness, you know, just because your wedding photographer and someone's like we're gonna bring our dogs and we're going to dress them up. Some of that is kind of coaching the client cause Jennifer could could have come in here, but like, Oh, my gosh, this is crazy. Can't believe we're doing this, but just like approaching her and being, like, really wanted a good portrait. And you're the wedding photographer telling your clients, you know, he that's great, that they're here. I know they're dressed up one's air ring Bear One's a bridesmaid, but, like, I really want to get a good portrait of them. So, you know, if you want to do a fun one after, but, like, let's get a serious image and take it seriously, you know, because if you just give into them being like, oh, this is gonna be crazy than you're not going to get good portrait. So, you know, just focus on that. Give your clients a great experience, charge what you're worth, value yourself and just remember when it comes to pricing and comes to what you charge, everything that you're doing with your clients is taking time away from your family and your kids and your dogs in your life. And is that $25? Eight by 10 worth that worth not hanging out with your daughter at night Worth not hanging out with your 16 year old dog or your cats or whoever your family is my dogs and my husband. That's my family. So even though I don't have kids, no, I leave the studio at six every night to go spend time with my family. And when I'm charging for things, it's so I can build a life from my family. So some people are like, Oh, you don't do evening sessions. I don't You know, I work until five, and I don't. The only day off I can do is Monday, and you're closed. You know what? You're probably only going to do this once a year. It's really important. Would you consider taking a day off of work? You don't have to bend over backwards. This is important for your clients. If they value it, they take their kids out of school to go to the dentist to go to the doctor. They're only open Monday through Friday. So why can't they take a day off of work once a year to do this really important portrait session? So just make sure you value yourself and stick to your policies and do what you can to make your clients happy, but have your policies that this is what we do and clients expect that and they're okay with that. So when you value yourself, your clients will value you so well. We have definitely value U and now U this workshop. It's been great. Another thank you to our in studio audience. Thank you to all of our viewers at home. Thank you to all of our pet owners and pets that have come in over the last two days. Thank you to the Creativelive crew. And once again, a huge thank you in round of applause. Theo, I cannot believe that this was your first workshop. You're such a pro here and accuse just wonderful to be on this journey with you. And I really enjoyed the I'll say it again, the clarity with which Arca presented her business. She started with a leap of faith and but she had a clarity of purpose even in that leap of faith and then the practical in actionable steps and systems that she shared with us. The last few days, she talked about shooting for a purpose, building relationships for a purpose. How to promote yourself with art displays silent options. How to value yourself in those, and also how to build relationships that build value for the person that you're working with, I think is incredibly key, that reciprocity piece, where you're giving and taking with each other and both supporting so everyone wins healthy relationship. There you go on and what the relationships eliminating confusion in them. Confusion equals negativity, showing what you want to sell, showing up for your business, respecting yourself, your art, your time, your clients and all of this is being offered to you to have for the rest of your life to go over and over. As we've said over and over, it often takes multiple times. Teoh really let the information sink in. We're offering this to you now. Creativelive all two days as well as the keynote presentation, and are those lists of preferred vendors for $99 If you buy it now, quick down, scroll down. We're offering it for $79. Much time is left, it looks like says Well, just a day says 17 hours left. Purchase it at a discount of $79. All right, and 36 minutes and 33 seconds. Delays every 25 seconds. So and with that, we want it again. Thank you Are covering for everything that you brought to us today, and that is a wrap.

I've watched A LOT of CreativeLIVE courses and Arica is by far the most effective and talented instructor I've seen. She's also got an extraordinary ability to photograph animals and their humans while remaining calm and in control. Even if you're not a pet photographer, this is a fabulous resource. Putting aside how amazing it is to watch her photograph in what seems like impossible situations and get the shot time after time, she also gives a lot of great information that applies to any professional photographer, whether they photograph pets or not. She's truly an amazing talent and I hope she does many more workshops -- I'm not a pet photographer but I'll watch all of them.

Arica's presentation was extraordinary. Such an incredible amount of valuable, practical information on everything from the basics of how to run a business profitably to how to attract and maintain value-oriented clientele to actually working with and photographing a variety of pets and their people. Arica demonstrated time and again during the live shoots that she was in mastery of both her techniques and her subjects, and in a way that felt simultaneously relaxed/casual and businesslike. That last session with the horse, duck, chicken, rabbits, dogs and people was a challenging balancing act and she pulled it off flawlessly. Finally, I appreciate all the detail she provided, such as names of vendors and how and why she uses each one. Absolutely no filler, all substance. I am in the process of taking my own pet photography from sideline business/ volunteer work to profit-making status and the timing of this program could not have been better for me. I'm a huge fan and look forward to more from her although it’s hard to imagine that there is anything left for her to cover about this topic because in this course, she did it all. A natural talent: smart, great on-screen presence, honest and a true teacher. Thank you, Arica!

Hi I am an aspiring pet photographer. I own 6 dogs and 4 cats that have been rescued in some way. I have learned a lot just by practicing with them. Arica's course today and yesterday showed me what I was doing wrong and everything that I was doing right. I impressed myself that I actually was doing very well. lol. I do have a web site http://squeakynes.wix.com/lisas-creations ,and if you can review it and give me some positive critism, it would just be terrific. There is a tab titled pets etc. My email address is under contact me. Thank you in advance. I tried to watch other courses but none of them would keep my attention. I had no problem with Arica AT ALL. I definitely will attend all and any other courses she offers. Her courses made me realize this dream of mine is just what I am suppose to do in life. I have a lot of the same qualities as Arica and my passion for animals. But...............I WILL NOT photograph snakes, no way. lol Arica, you TOTALLY ROCK. I look forward to the next one. xoxo
