Ah, one comment about adjustment layers as a whole. That I'll make very briefly is if you ever need your images to be reproduced. Ah, for printing on when I say printing press when I say printing, I mean it Printing press. I don't mean you're absent printer. I don't mean sending it out. Teoh Print Lab, where they give you back five prints or saying, I mean, when you're ordering 10,000 prints and it's printed like a magazine, uh, when it when it sent off to be printed someone either you or someone later on in the process is going to choose image mode seemed like a because when you print on a printing press print with cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink, and that's what seemed like a is all about when you choose that, if you have a document that contains layers, it will always ask you the following question. It asked if you want to flatten your image, and I know it's very convenient to keep your layers because then you could make changes in tweak things, but know that there could be a dr...
amatic visual difference between flatten your image and not flattening, depending on the contents, your picture on some images, it wouldn't be a big difference in others. It would be Well, you see, if I can show you on this particular image which kind of stresses what the differences could be, I'm gonna duplicate this image. And then there's a choice in here where I can show your images side by side saying see above So the one on the right I'm gonna convert to seem like a mode. And when it asked me to say no, I don't want to flatten it. I like my layers. I'm just gonna click OK here just to get it to convert. Can you see a difference between the two images? Right now, the war on the left is still in RGB mode. A lot of people complain about those kinds of changes when you go to see him like a there, like my image went bad. Well, now I'm gonna go to the image of the left, and I'm gonna convert it to seem like a And when it asked me, I'm gonna tell to flatten it and I get this little warning. I'll just click. OK, now they're both in seeing why came out. I like the one of the left a lot better. The one on the left looks a lot more like what I had originally, right. If I take the one on the right and I choose undo looks like have to take to undoes. There we go. Um, this is before and after. Do you see how big of a change? Then let's look at the one on the left. I can't even tell if I undid because it's pretty much identical. Um, this one I got so both over and see why came up? So whenever it asking, if you want to flatten your image where you're going to see, why came out, unless there's some critical reason to keep those layers, flatten your image because there is the potential of having it look more like it did when it was an RGB mode. It all depends what kind of layers you have in your picture, though If you have ever have any vibrant colors fading to black, you're going to notice quite a difference if you don't flatten image. If those vibrant colors aren't too different layers like a black layer down here, vibrant, color fading, fading out

I taught Photoshop (version 5) to graphic design students at the college level. I had great fun teaching. This is the perfect course to show others how they might go about teaching a Photoshop course. Congratulations Ben, on your excellent teaching style and methods. I thought I already knew quite a bit about Photoshop but this course made me aware that there's always more that you can learn.

This course is one of the best Creative Live Courses that you have made available to us. I have purchased at least 12 courses and this course is my personal favorite. Ben is an excellent instructor and should be teaching at the university level. He is great!
