Uh, Day three and we have had an amazing two days so far, and yet there is still more. So we are going to do about 10 minutes. Appreciate banter. Let us know in the chat room if you can see us and hear us and let us know where you're joining us from and how you have enjoyed the past couple of days. And how are you doing today, men? I'm doing fine. Yeah, Excited about today. All right, well, we'd like Teoh introduce her studio audience again. And we have so many upcoming workshops and a lot of opportunities for you guys to be part of the creative life experience here in Seattle, in our studio. So we'd like to go down the line...

and maybe if you could tell the people at home guys, what it's like being here at creative life and how that's different from watching how you're enjoying your experience. So we are going to start with you, Michael. Fantastic. Um, Michael Webber, Uh, this is my second creativelive back to back. I was here for leave virus, so I kind of have a good dose of sitting in the live audience on. And it is. It's a good experience at home. You know, I can get distracted very easily, check email, do business calls and all that. But, you know, here I'm more attentive and the negative, more relational teaching kind of hard to express that, but it's definitely a worthwhile experience. Good morning. I'm friend. My Twitter is at the AU triples that I my experience on the audience. It's actually pretty great to be here because you get to hear the information first hand, and it just makes it like Michael was saying, makes more of a relation experience. It's definitely worth it applying so forth. So last night, I decided that I'm gonna play for everyone show because it's totally worth it. Thanks. Yeah, just learning anything like off camera as well. Just getting Teoh experienced instructors on that level and the entire tape just be It's pretty awesome. You got some stepping out for a Tomatis, and my website is irish dot com. It's I r I s Do you m u K and U confined my Facebook and Twitter on their and this is my third creativelive class, and I know I I love coming here. It's really fun. Everybody's really nice and it's great to meet the instructors in person. And yet definitely you're blowing your mind. I don't know. It's just intense and and it's great to be able to just ask my questions face to face and see the demos kind of personalize it to myself. And just meeting the other photographers was really great. Like I've made a lot of connections that it's still keep in touch with people. It's great for networking. My name is Melissa Boils, and my Twitter is at pure whimsy. Photo and whimsy does not have any W h I M s y, and this is my first creativelive. I only discovered the website a few months ago, and I'm really excited to be here. It's great to be able to meet Ben in person and pick his brain and, you know, ask for clarification and everything. But I was going to say to I went home and tried it Tried something last night, and I'm sure I'm just missing a shift or an altar click or something. So I'm also excited to be able Teoh own this so that I can go back and reference it again. So for those of you thinking about it, it's definitely important to buy, But it's also fabulous to be here. Hi, I'm Nina. Our wake, uh, my website ISS Nina Hardwick witches and I n a h a r w I c k dot com. Um, I would say being here allows me to stay more focused. Um, I have been able to really taken depth nodes, pay attention. Um, at home, it's a little bit of a phase out phase in you watch what you think that you want to learn, and then you walk away sometimes and here you you don't miss it. You you are watching. You can interject with questions. Um, politely. Oh, but yes. Uh, it's pretty great being here. Great. Thanks a lot for sharing experience. So we do have opportunities to come to create a live studio. Matthew Jordan Smith and you wanna are coming. You want a house? They're coming to creativelive. And we have opportunities for you guys to be in a studio audience we're looking for models would like to be part of this experience. That will be a two day workshop You want a house will be teaching that, and that will be her teaching models. How to model what the model industry is like, how to come up in the modeling industry. And then Matthew Jordan Smith will be teaching photographers how to interact with models and deal with models. So we do have opportunities for you to be in the creative live studio for that workshop, and those videos are actually do today. So we love to see some more videos for me folks today. How many? How exciting would that be to be in a workshop with Kevin. So please get your videos for that will be exciting. Workshop. Yeah, Not just just fun. Not just exciting Superfund. So go to the course pages. Watch the video and learn what you need. Teoh do. For those videos, you'll need to include specific hashtags and then a link to your video and then tweet tweet that creativelive. That is the way that we will find you. That's right. And I think those are, uh you want alive. And they heard me on air. Kevin. Perfect. Sign up for those classes to you while you're at it. So, Susan, where are people joining us from? Let's see here. Where you people joining us from? They haven't sort of the locations haven't started rolling in yet, so just give us a second. We have Senayan, who is from Road Rogue River Organ working in there. That's where Nero Brewery, Of course. Of course. Rivers, not by national. Well, well, I don't know that. That's the only thing I think of together. I passed through there under on my way up, up here. Nice. KKR's from Barbados. Barmaid. Does we have from Phil Clay? Who's in Shenzhen, China? Yeah, I think he joins us regularly. Okinawa, Japan. See Harris. Let's see here. Florida, Indianapolis, Bremen, Germany. Well, we have another guy from China will appeal. 02 says, I wish I was in Barbados. Not Wing is from Trinidad. We have Christina's front, Montrose County, Colorado Anyhow. Yes, you dio. So thank you, everyone for joining us from all over the world. Red Star. I told people to mute them this morning, and I physically grabbed my to do it. So better now, in pre show banter, That's right. So folks, tomorrow way get even more of Ben Wilmore and then is going to be doing a light painting class, which is really exciting because it's something we've never done before. You can see some of the images in the studio up here that it's Ben's Venice Olga's. It's his favorite type of photography, but what I want to make sure that you guys know is that we're actually starting that class tonight. We're doing a nighttime segment since it's going to be dark tonight and not tomorrow during the class and So we are going to be broadcasting at starting at 8:30 p.m. Pacific time. That's 11:30 p.m. East coast time and check your time zones off our website for the rest of the world. And so, Ben, could you tell us what we're gonna be doing? Well, if actually, if they were to show my screen right now, I have a little slide show of light paintings going on. So if you look at that well, while I'm talking, you might be able to learn what will be doing. So I'll show you how you go into a scene where, for instance, in this scene, if you were to take a photograph here, usually this tree and everything else here would be in silhouette would just be a black shape and you'd see a little hint to the color of the sky in all of the illumination in here, with the exception of the sky stuff that I did you white walking through the scene with a flashlight and very selectively lighting it. And then the orb in the middle I created if you have a a dog chain and some little led is the kind you'd put on your key chain, you could make one of those, and you could make it in about a minute. It's not difficult to do its long if somebody shows you how to do it. If you tried on your own, it's gonna be a really oddly shaped one. Then here again, these would be in silhouette, just like the trees are. I decided not to light the trees, and instead I only let the vehicles and other things that are in there. And you can get just a very unique look to your images where you can make him stand out because they most the time things are more evenly lit in in order to get in there and really like them selectively, like here, lighting a pink flamingo just that nothing around. It usually need a lot of lighting gear, but instead I'm walking right up to with a flashlight lightning. I don't show up because it's really dark out, and I never point the flashlight at me, so but it's my favorite kind of photography. I just love it that

I taught Photoshop (version 5) to graphic design students at the college level. I had great fun teaching. This is the perfect course to show others how they might go about teaching a Photoshop course. Congratulations Ben, on your excellent teaching style and methods. I thought I already knew quite a bit about Photoshop but this course made me aware that there's always more that you can learn.
