Day 3 Wrap-Up

We have temples because we've designed all this stuff and should you want him then everything that we pretty much have if you sit around here long enough I'm going to make you a template all right? We're gonna make you wanna turn you into a template way probably won't do that, but I do want to share one more thing with you guys obviously you've gathered my passion for what I do you gathered my passion from a family you've gathered my passion for giving you guys realistic tools and realistic goals that can work you know I am a small little tiny success story in this world where I came from nothing and through family and love and faith and great companies like creative love I've been able to turn myself and my family and my business and it's something I'm really proud of and you guys can do the exact exact same thing so if you got any little bit out of this I want to be friends with everybody not just to make myself look cool that's never gonna happen, obviously, but you know I want to b...

e genuine and I hope that these last three days have exuded nothing but me being genuine and obviously I have to feel really good about the content that we've given you because man, I don't like I said if I had to go another day we could do it goodness gracious, I'm like, man, I have given you guys a ton of information and it's inspired me to start submitting some my own videos creative, live because I want to come and sit and learn firsthand from some of these folks that are coming in. So there's a lot of good stuff on the schedule that I'm looking forward to. So with that being said, we're going to open it back up to the internet, we're gonna answer a few more questions, and we're going to let this little pony ride on out. Well, first of all, smell it. You know that nancy, twenty three, just said, thanks, blair, but I'm having a rough day. I'm just going to channel my inner blair, hardworking man and his family can be proud of them dio sounds great. So this next question I've actually been saving that came in a little bit earlier in the day. So I'm hoping that ashley ashley jones photography in colorado is still watching. Here's her question, she says, I'm twenty five and I'm five foot two and not one hundred percent at trendy fashions. A lot of my high school seniors are very trendy and taller than I am. I am the age where I relate more to the high school age than the parent age. How do I get the seniors to see that I'm a good fit for their style and grabbed the parents to see me as a professional and not just a kid? That is a very good question. Wow, how do you do that? You know, in a lot of these questions, there's no correct answer for, you know, and you have to again, you have to be yourself, you know? So she could pretend to be five foot seven, and we're really tall shoes, but that's not who she is at the end of the day. So she has to go in and just lay down a lot of education. You're gonna have to lay down a lot of education, and when you get in front of one of those parents, you know, you you tell them exactly what you just asked me. And you say, you know, how, how do you think I can relate better to the parents and then take me a little more seriously? Sometimes it's good just to ask if you don't know ask him a question go to some of those high school seniors go to one of their go to one of the games this is what I would do I go to a volleyball game or something and before practice you know I would I would go out and ask a couple of the girls you not say mass you girls a question listen, I want to get into doing sports photography I want to give you girls something that you've never had before I want to give you some awesome images and what do you think somebody like me? Look, I'm twenty five years old I'm not having the most fashion sense, you know, just kind of how I am what what what should I do to be able to relate to you guys a little bit better like should I come in and just like trying to be really cool or what? And you know what they're doing? I say they're not out of ten times going to say just be yourself like we don't care, we don't care so lot of times you know, we may over analyze it and we have we lower our confidence level because we don't necessarily fit the bill we don't look the part, but I've never looked the part and I walk in with the utmost confidence and I say you know what? Hey, what can I do that's just like during the breaks here you know I'm asking hey am I doing you know what I'm supposed to be doing? Do I need to change anything I want to know and that's the best way to know is to ask a question so I think simply asking the questions and getting differences of opinions and see where it takes you yeah they were great advice perfect advice well they're one final question we have for you before we wrap this up we all see thatyou love teo give back not only are you giving so much energy and kindness to people your clients and the people that you shoot for your community, you know, extended community on top of that neighboring states your global professional community but coming on platforms such as this and teaching for free to an entire global audience live event that's free all this information that you've worked so hard for all of the years you've gone through so many struggles to get where you're at and if you're incredibly busy and and you have a beautiful family and you seem like you know everything is a balance and you have great energy you have amazing inspiration because you're inspiring all of us here and you're inspiring so many people in the chat rooms you guys are on fire and we see that it's awesome and so I guess just of what would be your final words how can someone just starting out from the very beginning or perhaps somebody who's been doing this for ten years and they still full time job and they're just still trying to make it work how do they start practising amazing work ethics such as yourself so that you have respect in your community and trust yet have a balance for your life for yourself and also for your family and others around you that has probably got to be one of the longest questions I've ever witnessed in my entire life this season you know my advice would be very simple everything you do in life whether it's work or personal you're trying to balance your life the first thing you have to do you know if you I believe in a higher power of some sorts or you don't you know get in check with that first and then from there you've gotta put was good for your family first you always have to do that and I get really busy a lot of times and sometimes I feel like maybe I'm I overlook certain aspects of my family but my little girl has told me to slow down and take it easy but the biggest piece of advice that I could give and this is something that I lived I try to live really really hard by is every night when I lay my head on my pillow I cannot truly say I was a good person today, I was a good person all the way down to when I'm walking down the street this morning on the way here, every single person that I passed by, none of them waved back at me or not in their head, but I did that to them when I want by said, hey, how are you? And they looked at me like I was an idiot. Maybe it was the hair, but I went that extra step because I said, blair, you're capable of saying hello, and if you won't buy and you don't say, hey, how are you? You're not gonna lay your head down tonight saying, you know what? I did all I could today, did I hold the door for every person that was behind me when I walked in somewhere? So it's, the little things in life that really add up to success, you know? And we had a great conversation earlier, and I will say, I think that ninety percent of my success comes from just having a genuine personality and being able to talk to people you know, being ever slow down and get really, really people and that's, if I couldn't do that on this platform or I couldn't do that in my business, then this isn't where I need to be so you know, if you're just starting out, let me tell you this is photography is not an easy road to go down these days it's not when I first started it was a lot easier, but for someone just joining the market now it is tougher it is, you know and that's not to say that you can't do it I'm going to be forty thousand times more successful than I am, but again, you just got to keep shooting there's no right way to do it other than put yourself in those compromising situations and study things like creative love and get the amount of tools that you think you need and rehearse be genuine be yourself and if you're trying to follow in the footsteps of someone else exactly the way that they do it it's never gonna work because you are who you are, someone made you who you are and you can't change that unfortunately, I can't change who I am but yeah, just be original, be genuine and listen, you know if something's fighting you really hard, maybe you go into a slightly different direction if seniors or given you a really hard time right now focus on something else for a little while and then come back to it don't beat your head up against the wall if something's not working, you just keep working until you figure out a way to make it work and don't make excuses no one wants to hear those no one so that being said I want to say thank you so much again to you guys for being here and the online audience this has been far greater oven experience post post eh personal challenge but just a feel good challenge of man I feel so good that we were able to reach out to so many people and give great material and I feel really good about it and thank you again to you guys and with that being said I'm going to give it to our wonderful closer and we're gonna let it all right thank you I like that I'm now the closer you she closes the deal man thank you blair there's just been so such a great class to be a part of thank you so much of course you guys thank you for joining us over the last three days don't forget that you are the reason we are here without you we would cease to exist or in studio audience again thank you all and I just want to give another big shout out and a big thanks tio blair's a wife suzanne phillips your your voice and your touch is definitely all over this workshop and we can tell so thank you very much from the bottom of my heart one more huge global applause please for blair phillips you guys and we'll be complete without giving some great fantastic quotes from the internet that are coming through our facebook page now saying no wonder he's successful he is serious when he needs to be but enjoys family job and life I'm sorry this class is almost over and is anna says I love a spirit he is various street point with his clients yet he is very sensitive to their feelings and brennan says that you are amazing claire by the way this is all in caps so just imagine shouting shouting you're amazing blair here's one of the best and innovative classes I have seen I am from a small town and this makes me want to go crazy and go get contracts with all that dance studios in town that's awesome on this one was my favorite from the day I am really proud to share this one this is from randy and our in studio audience here this is totally like nail nails hits nail on the head but blair hasn't broken the mold he has shattered it well that's awesome thank you man thank you all right you guys this is it blair has just laid it all out and taught you how teo light pose, shoot, brand, sell package all of your service and products to the high school senior market so now it is up to you and as he said no more excuses, no more excuses stop making excuses.
