Introducing Hybrid to Your Clients

We've got just so many thoughts and ideas and questions that are bouncing back and forth here between the brakes. But the conversations, of course, that we have here between the brakes are almost as interesting as the ones that we're talking about here. We've got a handful of folks that we call hybrid heroes, and our hybrid heroes have a lot of interesting things Teoh say into to talk about on how they excuse me, get into how they're going to be selling their product. Now we've talked Maura about real estate agents, and it just so happens that we have a real estate agent that's been tied into our group. His name is Ken shall Erman and he Schelberg sorry, he has down in the in the Big Easy. He's down in New Orleans area, and what he did was he helped the Saudi meat. It's a little vlog post that talks about how he, as a real estate agent, has moved in to making this part of his profits. And it's one of the pieces that I would love to show. If you don't mind, I'm gonna pop this up. This i...

s 40 just the YouTube part I don't think I'll get all the way through. We won't need to. But I do want you to show. I want you to see how a successful photographer who I'm sorry, a successful real estate agent who was an unsuccessful photographer, has decided to combine those two. And now he's come into photography is Aziz hybrid photographer and has been profitable. And in fact, this guy's doing real well. Effect. He's doing doing better with photography, everybody. I can. I'm Ken Schellenberg. I'm a commercial hybrid photographer here in the New Orleans area. Oh, I forgot this. Hey, happy my to grow the rest of the country. It's only Tuesday here in New Orleans Today. I'll get back to this. Our fearless leader, Will Crockett asked me to spend a minute and do a little blob post here about how I sell he cards to a real estate agents, specifically full disclosure. I happen to be a license real estate agent, but my living comes from shooting for photos. First time I saw Will Crockett demonstrate with the E card quite some time ago. I know it's really it was a no brainer for real estate, and I think well in the photography on a country, I think, and see that it is a no brainer for a real estate agent because they're all about, like a lot of other businesses but real estate agents and agents. And specifically, it's all about numbers. The more people you meet talk about real estate, more chances of them call you to list your cellar house or at least their house wherever. When I show. When I decide, make my mark it plan, and I try to sell the card every day. I don't sell a car to an agent every day. I certainly plant the seed but not playing, saying he and planting seeds, some whales, some of the cards, I'm telling. It's a word of mouth thing. I don't put those hardest. You might think. Now I have people calling me Stop in my office. Call me. I had a call last week. I did a card for a local guy here in New Orleans who went to Phoenix, showed it somebody from New York and I got a phone call from upstate New York. One. How are we gonna do a card for them? But I'm in the wrong something. What's the working out but the word of mouth? What I do is pretty simple. There's no product like it, period. It is a video every age is familiar with YouTube on Vimeo and stuff like that. But when you get to the calls, the action, it's professional. It professionally recorded professionally, Mike. All that goes into the package, but I find it hard to convince him that it's not just the video, but when you add the calls to action just eliminates the competition, the and to the contact, which is the latest button that Dan Foster has added. That's really cool, a really good feature. But for me personally, my experience is that when it really gets pushes it over, the top is when I say, Oh, by the way on I really I refer to it. My personal branded E card is called my talking card. When I'm selling on my talking card, the very and I also remind him of if you at the end we can take this whole embedded code and put it at the bottom of your email signature. That way, when you or anyone on your team who has their own card sends out an email. There's your 25 2nd personal commercial at the bottom of that email. So if you're marking person sends it up for your team leader or your transaction coordinator who has their own video sends that out that the tempo there is a little slow cause you don't forget beyond Ken's down there in South and a little slow down there, too. But what we want to do in this segment is we want to talk about how we're actually going to introduce hybrid to our customers, right? So our current customers now just so happens Ken's current customers are people who are buying and selling homes well. He wants to be able to figure out a better way while he wants to increase his income as well. But he wants to figure out a better way to introduce those homes. So he's using hybrid photography for two different ways. He's using the e card protester basic template. Of course, not only they introduce himself as as an agent, but he also uses it for properties. When he has a really valuable property, he's able to use photo and video and some graphics to put all that stuff together and end up using that same template and sending it off his way. Now you'll notice is one thing that can did say in there, said he's not real comfortable with using my e card dot pro. He didn't like that term. Well, that's okay. So we got a hold of Dan Foster and he says, Dan, what's it gonna take for you to replicate that Might car dot pro and rebranded under my own brands? His is my talking card or whatever it's gonna be. So that's very expensive. Way to go. And it was affordable enough for Ken. Dan put it together. Form built him his own server. So he has his own dashboard his own way of putting things up. Therefore, he has his own his own u R L that he gets to command. On top of now. That's pretty darn terrific. But when it comes right back down to it, it's all about numbers to him. He wants to be able to sell more houses, and he wants to be able to sell them faster, right? They real estate agents have the same issues that we do, and it's kind of funny that our worlds have finally collided it. Now we're trying to sell them the replacement to the business card, and they're trying to sell their customers or replacement to the printed pamphlet that they've had to deal with, right? Remember, they're dealing with websites now. They have to have pictures of the homes or videos of their homes that are put onto some sort of website or there it's a video that they need to put onto their phone. That's bit of a problem. Well, when you talk about going to places like Louisiana, you don't have really great three DRI and four G networks. And if you've got an IPhone, for instance, you want to be able to show them the video of this beautiful interior of this home, this $2 million home that you were gonna buy down there. That's gonna be a problem, because it's not gonna play really well. So of course, we've got limitations on everything that we've got to do. But we've gotta figure out, no matter what, our clients are, how we're going to start asking them how there weren't to use hybrid photography tool, which is why I'm so jazzed about your idea about the truck, right? Great stuff. Next up, let's take a look at something that's a little more progressive. When we want to talk about how we're going to sell. Let me show you how we're gonna sell. And then let's talk a little bit more about numbers, shall we? If you were able to go to my website, if you are able to go to looks like we're logged in there, let's go to a different browser if you don't mind. And let's go to Chicago. And of course, we've got our corporate portrait's. Now we've got a regular portrait. We've got extras. We got our abouts right. Well, let's go back to the old website because it's actually got a little bit nicer layout. I'm gonna go and I'm gonna show you a page here where we want to learn all about E cards. So we're gonna collect e card pro for business. So if you were to go to our old site, this will soon be on our new website. I'm gonna pull this out toe full page here. This is e card pro for business. And this is going to be what we want our customers to start off with, and I'm a play this for you. What is an e card pro? I will rocket. I'm Chicago's top hybrid photographer, and I'm actually the guy that helped develop the E card pro. That's the replacement to the printed business card. What People ask me what I do for a living and ask for a business card. I don't give him a printed business card, which is kind of funny because we're in the business of making prints right? Instead, I pull out a phone or a tablet. I keep this little shortcut here handy, and I send them a U R l literally. I text them over my business card. Now I'm not sending them a video. I'm sending them to a link to a wonderfully sophisticated yet brilliantly simple delivery platform. It's called my e car dot pro, and I tell you, it works like a champ for myself as well as all of my clients. Take a look at my e card pro and notice at the end of the video. Got some pretty slick little buttons that pop up there. This is not made for photographers. This is on my website that I want my customers to see. So my customers are learning about my product Through my website, I Will Crockett Commercial. My company shoots photo and video and audio for new media, marketing and advertising Solutions. Way also helped develop some of the products that you see every day in the changing world of hybrid photography. The cool connectivity panel at the end of the video play allows my clients with one touch to call me or one touch to text or email me or one touch, and they can go to the exact Web page that I want them to see. My e card pro has been a wonderful tool for me to not only get in front of my customers, but get in front of my competition as well. We shoot thes every day in our Chicago studio as well as on location. Wanna learn more? Click the learn more button, no total wiseguy right click to learn more button on this page. This'd one single page that you'll see. There's a little bit of text on there and it says, Oh, what e card pro is now when you see that there are some yellow areas. Those are places where we start collecting that process. All right, let's say that that customer wants that e card pro now, even if you don't want to sell the e card pro so you want to sell the pocket portrait. You want to sell one of the other products, you still need to start collecting the data. You've got to be able to collect the data right, Because what's the phone number? What's the email address you wanted to go to? We don't wanna have to collect that on a piece of paper and then have people then that my mike staff translate that back into something else. We don't want to do that. How do we start the process online? Of somebody wanting T to buy something? They're gonna click this online form when they click this online form, they're going to go to, uh, well, it's a It's a service, in fact, that I use that's called wufu dot com. That's W u F oh dot com. I'll see if I can pump pump that up there. There you go wufu dot com that allows you to make a form and then this form right here was created online at Wufu. Then it allows shoot to do whatever you want to. With that form, you can shape it. You can size it. You can place it wherever you want to. Then you could have it collect the data in any way that you want it collected. Then once it's done, you can say, Well, send this data in this format to this place. So we haven't set actually collect all this information for you, right? Look, it was all zoom in a little bit there on the on the PC, you can see that. Go select your e card. Pro version. Is it going to be really estate If you happen to be one of our men's warehouse customers, right, click their butts banking, other insurance. Okay, well, the reason is that those are some of the companies that we happen to have deals with, and we have discount packages with, so that that will give us a tip off. Actually, of patty a tip off that they may be having some sort of discount deal. All right. Next. We need to enter the name as you would like it to appear on your e card pro, right. We've got to be very specific about that. We want to make sure that if you call yourself Lorenzo saying you call yourselves. Oh, but on your e card pro. You don't think that's gonna be professional enough that you'd like to be Lorenzo? All right, well, I know you ISO and your email maybes Oh, it whatever it is. But I want to make sure that it's going to be Lorenzo, and I want to make sure that it's spelled the way that you wanted spell to. So, of course it's gonna have a star on it. Of course, that course designates that it's got to be filled out. So there's your first name, your last name, then Remember your company name as you'd like it to appear on your e card dot pro the job title for your e card dot pro. Now that does have to be filled out. There are some people that don't want to put their job title on there. We can deal with that in a different way, but for the most part, we're gonna want to have that have that on their, uh, primarily because of it would make the car look like it's got a space missing. Okay, full number for your e card pro. That one is optional. That some people just don't want to do that. I get it. Website to show on your e card Pro e mail to appear. And then it says on the bottom right there. Okay, Ready? Make me an e card pro using this info that tells me that that customer understands I want to order this product. And this is the info that I want to use. So boom that click the okey dokey button after that, OK, button goes through, they're able to go right back to the page. Sorry about that. And then they're going to learn what the next step is right there. Going to be back on this page and they're gonna go, OK, I filled out the form that gets the ball rolling. Terrific. If you would rather, if you wouldn't want to fill out an online form, that's okay. You could call us House or town, which is now Chicago portrait dot pro. There's a phone number or, if you will let you can email. We look forward to seeing you in house or town. All right, what's that do? That means that that person has now made at least the commitment enough that they're going to want to make that product. They want to place that order. So they've already filled out the form, which means we've got that data because here's the super special part about keeping the time down. Remember, we wanna work on a one hour clock in the Crockett studio, some no matter what comes in. I wanted to be able to be shot and created. Do everything we need to do post wise and get him out of there in an our benefits a family portrait. It's a business portrait. Or if it's an e card pro, I don't care. So we want to make sure that we've got all that data collected. Louis, would you grab an IPad if you would please? Only when you get a chance. Okay, so incomes a person. Let's say, say, Lorenzo is coming in for his E card pro. He's gonna walk into the Crockett studio, and we talked about this right before we went to break, and he says, OK, hey, am Lorenzo And I'm here for my eager Oh, terrific. Well, Patty already knows because you've already filled up the order form or you've already talked to Patty on the phone. So, no, I've already got all of Lorenzo's information. So what she'll do is she will really take all your information over the phone. Or if she does take your info over the phone. What she'll do is she will have your form already filled out. It will be on and on an IPad. And what she'll do is she'll ask you make sure. Hey, buddy, would you make sure that the info that we're gonna show you later today that you know, that's that's gonna be correct. But in the meantime, please make yourself comfortable. She'll put that down and there's the restroom over there. There's your dressing room. Go ahead and put yourself together and say, Oh, you know, I'm not sure which tied to use that. Pettis graded all that stuff. If you want, my opinion can have, my opinion will figure out what it is. All right, Great. Comes on in the door now, remember, we're talking about an hour right now. We're usually about the seven minute mark in. You come. Alright. comes popping and hits the set. Got the camera all set up. Got my little sticker on there. I know exactly what I'm going to be shooting. I've got things set up. You pop on in, we shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot. Louis knows from the way that I shoot that the last two pieces of video are going to be the winners. So if I have to shoot five pieces of video in order to get what I want, it doesn't really matter about the first couple because the last two are going to be the big ghost. That's just pretty much the way it isn. He's asked me that it's his Crockett. If the last two aren't the bingo shots, you make sure that you let me know and it'll go through those single. Actually, it goes through a check and edit them right? Rarely does it happen that way. Now there are a lot of times where we do get it on the first try, and it really does happen. Now, when people have a problem and say they're shooting a pocket portrait or the shooting Andy card doesn't matter. Whatever product that they're shooting, remember we want to make sure we keep that in that hour because that's got everything to do with dollars per hour. We'll do five takes, and if it takes more than five takes, then there's an issue. And then we have to solve that issue. So the first thing if I think that the person is a little bit on the nervous side, is that I'll go ahead and I'll shoot the photos first. So I'll shoot the first batch of photos because that's going to relax him a little bit. Gets me time to joke around with him. I'm a little more comfortable maybe shooting the photo stuff, too. Don't forget, because we've got a great big light source off to the left side and this, typically my dog rolling around. That's a very friendly place. The walls are covered with framed beautiful black and white prints. You know you're in the right spot, right? The staff is friendly, were relatively well dressed. We're ready to go. All right, we're gonna get those still portrait if I know that I get this still portrait's I go back over to the video, showed him start shooting the video side. Great. If we get it, we're all good to go. If I'm nervous and I don't think I got the still portrait's, I'll go back and I'll start reshooting the still portrait's to get better. Still, Portrait's because sometimes that's still portrait's air. Just the warm up now, Louise gonna hear that all the times. I don't even have to tell him that unless he's busy over off doing something else. But if he's paying attention, at least got a near going over dismember. You don't see him as the subject you're sitting here. There is a five foot main light here, right, a four foot main light here. And then he's right behind that. So even though he's hearing everything and of course, he's seeing everything, too, he doesn't have the ability to be noticed by you that when we're able to go ahead and shoot that video, we will go ahead, finish off that video if I have to go back and reshoot. Fine. Remember, breaks over five takes. That's when we got to stand up. Gonna make a little change. That's when I left. Patty. Patty, come on over here. So what we need to do is we just seem to break that train of thought. So what I'll do is I'll say, Hey, Patty, would you mind collecting up the date? And I'm not gonna tell the person that I don't have the video? If they asked, they said, Did you get all video? I don't know. You know, I might change it a little bit. I'm not quite sure. Right. So Patty's gonna have an IPad. We love to use these little handles here. These just wonderful. Handled on what? That these things are. But Patty's gonna be have this Have they're gonna be popped up with my dog Mallya right behind my, um so that it's gonna be opened up and it's gonna be already on Wufu, and it's gonna be on your work. Your roof? Who? Your info. So she's gonna break that little info by. So would you do me a favor? Check this over. Is this how you like your name to appear? And this is gonna Pierre here and all that other stuff. All right, that changes your way of thought. Plus, you're connecting with Patty and Patty is really cool anyway, then Louise gonna No, to give Patty the high sign to speed things up a little bit because that means Will needs to reshoot. Because remember, at this point, worried about the 25 minute mark, maybe even in the 35 minute mark. And that's a problem. We got to get you out of there an hour because we got another person coming in right behind you. We don't want to slow that down at all. So if I need to keep going, Louie's gonna come over to me and he's gonna say he's gonna say Krach said, You need photo. Do you need video? Need both. Let's that all I need is video. He says No problem. So what Louise gonna do is you're gonna hear Click. He's gonna take the photo in the video that we just shot is gonna move it through the U. S. B pipe and he's gonna pull it over. He's gonna collect that he's gonna take it. He's gonna hold it off on the one side. Then he's gonna go back, and he's going to reform at my card because I was a reformat my card. That way we don't have any sort of doubles, right? And people always get nervous. Oh, my gosh, Your report, your reformat, your card after every shoot. You you darn right we do. That's how well trained our staff is Because they know that once it's reformatted, it's gone, right? It's only gone. And so then we come back. Patty says Okay, well, I got all the information we got to go, Kate. Terrific. I go, You know, Lorenzo, come on back. I got a better idea. I want to shoot something else. The last thing I want to do is tell you that you screwed up and it doesn't look very good at all. I mean, you probably know that you're already nervous and it took more than five takes, so come on, sit back down. Now, if I notice after two takes of three takes that you're still having that same kind of little problem you would all do. I jump right in. Lorenzo, do me a favor. Just like we talked about yesterday. I go. Lorenzo, come on over here. I want you to sit in the camera. I want you to see what I see. And then I want to show you what I think might work better for you. You go sure. Okay, so you just come on over And of course, these because we're using mirror less cameras, you've got a little screen right there Now, also to there are many times that on because I use a camera stand instead of a camera tripod that I've got my camera Head it right. The camera here mounted to a tripod head over here. I've got a little mixer with the clamp that's got my head phoned. Ability here there, too. Sometimes two, if I really needed I've got a little small HD and I monitor that you'll see, like the guys floating around back here use Got one of those off to the side. Their tune if I need to, like an unplanned that. And I could slide that closer and I could stay here. If you don't want to look at the little cameras, teeny weeny screen, you can see the real deal screen right here. Right. So I go back over there and I say what you're gonna say. I remember this is just a knee card prone. It's Hi, my name is is the Renzo Hill. Okay, then I'll do watch. It's Lorenzo. Here's a second take I specialize in whatever I specialize in, do whatever. And then I do whatever that said the whatever. And then I do them and that's they didn't smile. That's it. You go. Wow, You made it look pretty simple. Beyond is pretty simple, Manus it. Look, just try sometimes just hearing that voice, just hearing those words spoken at that speed and that temper and that Tambor that because I'm the world's greatest speaker, the world's bravest, greatest coach. I'm certainly not just by you hearing those words spoken. The right way breaks the spell. You walk back in there and nine out of 10 times would just say, Lou, nine out of times the person comes, Pop it on in and then bam! There it is, right gets it all done. Then you're able to fix. It often goes over to Louis, moves it this way
