everybody. Welcome to Creativelive. My name is Lily Tongue Crystal. And I'm your host today for Amazing class called Social Media Sanity had a save time on social media with Tiffany Han. We have an amazing instructor here. Tiffany is a business and branding coach and she has a great podcast called Raise your hands. Say yes. And finally I love this. People call her the professional Yoda and the Mary Poppins of creative businesses. Please help me in welcoming to the stage. Tiffany Han. I'm doing great and I'm really excited about today film. I were so excited to have you on creativelive about this topic because it's really people really think about social media like I feel like I'm on there and then I get on Facebook and I'm there for an hour and it just passes by like, Why? Um, Why are people why do you think people are so overwhelmed by social media in general? Because there's just so much out there. There's so many platforms, their new ones being created every day. And there's so much...

content within the platforms that it's really, really easy to get sucked in. If you're not deliberate with your time. I see. So what do you mean by deliberate? You know, it's about It's about knowing what you want and knowing why you're going on and being able to really craft a strategy that helps you get in and get out and get on with your day. Awesome. That's what I want I e o Hi, everybody. Well, go. I'm so excited for today. So we are, as I mentioned, a lily gonna be talking and learning about. How do you social media effectively? Because I don't want anyone to spend more time on social media. The necessary I want you guys to be in your business and creating That's what it's all about. So here's the problem. We're putting our energy towards social media instead of our creative work because we think social media is the way to move our creative business forward. And it is a way we're gonna talk a lot about that today. But what really is the key essence of your creative businesses? Your creation, right? Yeah. So I really want That's what I want you guys to be able to do is get back into the studio, get back to the sketch pad get back to the probe, to the designing and to the writing and to that piece, because that's what we all miss, right? So what we're gonna learn is how to craft a strategy to use social media. But this is actually all about everything else. It's a big secret. So who can benefit from an effective social media strategy? I everyone who uses social media is part of their business, right? Does your grandmother, who loves to see pictures of her grandkids need an effective social media strategy? Probably not. She's probably fine, you know, But it's we've become people who are constantly we have our computers, and then we have our phones and getting the ping and the pain and the pain and the pain, and you can't focus on anything. So anyone who's feeling that lack of focus, who's not quite sure how quiet that noise and get back to their own. That's really what we're working towards here. This class is going to be perfect for the freelancer or the creative business owner who wants to use social media to promote their business and tell the story of their brand, but they're just not quite sure how to put all the pieces together. And we're going to do that. We're gonna look at it piece by piece today and then craft a plan. So you guys at the end of the day are gonna walk away with, actually ah, months worth of social media content. I know crazy. So let's talk this through by the end of this workshop, you are going Teoh have guidelines for communicating your brand story. You have a creative business, you have a brand. We're gonna figure out what your brand is trying to say. You're gonna get smart about goal setting. So this isn't about growing my Twitter followers by a 1,000,000. It's about setting really specific goals for your business so that you can use social media effectively. You're gonna know your businesses priorities both on and off social media. So you're gonna know what you're working towards more than just a to do list, right? It's more than just the things I need to accomplish today. It's what do you really want for your business and what does What does that look like? You're gonna know which social media platform is best for your business, so you can really focus your efforts on one or two platforms that are gonna give you the most return on your investment of time. You're gonna be able to craft and implement an effective social media content strategy. Yeah, the time Yeah, you're like, Yes. Um, here's what I'm teaching those. I'm a business and branding codes for creative entrepreneurs, and I see it all the time. Everyone spending too much time on social media. I spend too much time on social media. I actually developed a coaching program a few years ago called Social Media Rehab that stemmed from my experience of being like, I'm addicted and I need to rehab myself. And so it's a 30 day program to just get off social media. Um, and it changed my life, and then I would work people through it, and it was all about quieting that and figuring out what to do instead. And I really believe that you don't have to have to go to rehab, Teoh to figure out that you can actually buy getting deliberate on what you want and by what you're trying to accomplish. You can figure out a way to integrate social media into your life without letting it take over right, Because social media doesn't have to consume you if you don't let it, it's about making a choice. I'm seeing a lot of nods, and I hope everyone at home is like is really feeling this because by the end of this class, I want you guys have made that choice to come back over to the to the light side things and to really know that you can be in charge and you can be in control of how you're spending your time.

I bought this course at exactly the right time. Everything Tiffany said is still 100% relevant today. It's not about posting more or using more platforms. Instead she helps you develop a strategy that's super easy. I did mine during the course and it's by far the best marketing plan I've ever created for my business. I learned a big lesson on this course: if you don't like doing it, then drop it; and that includes social media, anything in your business, etc. I have such a sense of relief and calmness now about my business. One of the best business courses ever.
