How to Upload Photos to Your Social Media

so how do you get images from your camera to social media uh well there's a couple different ways typically you know that the easiest way or like the most normal way would be to basically come back home and or come back from a shoot and pop them in your laptop and color cracked him up put him in a folder email into yourself you and your phones he was having on your phone save him post him or put him on a good drive accident somewhere else but I'd love to show you guys is the process of what it could be like tio use wifi so let me uh I'm just gonna fire off a couple frames and then I'm going to show you guys uh what I am doing here so let's see if you were really great shot here perfect okay so this is a really easy process basically my phone here I turn my phone on two on the wife I turned wifi on and I pushed my menu button my menu button I am to go to this little icon which is the little wifi signal and the wifi signal says send a smartphone send a computer view on tv I could do all ...

these things on here somebody go send a smartphone click that select on smartphone click that now it's showing me wife I stand by ok and right now it's showing me the wifi password and the wife I like signal right so and the device right so cool this is where I stop you guys remember this is they have this on a lot of different devices so um I'm gonna go to my phone go to my settings good wifi so there's my there's my thing I've already got the password in here I've used it before my wifi passwords in there it's all good to go click out of that I opened up this their app which is playmobil memories up and it goes straight to my images so here's basically all the photos I just shot now if you look in this app I can it'll give me different dates if I shot different dates will say july twenty ninth you know five hundred images this day so I click on this day and I can click I can select these images on this screen or I could make them bigger and scroll through you see that I control him like okay I like this one like this one like this one like that one who would actually I don't like that one click out of it so it's selecting him on this little checkbox right I go back and I can click copy and all these images will copy so let me just copy one of them um I'm just gonna copy one boom copy one image copied that's all I want great shot my camera I'm good to go now I can sit back wherever I want to go I put my camera back in my bag or whatever and I can't open up any app you want to edit write whatever you guys prefer visco um after lights a great app um I prefer light room so basically I I go to my light room app right here light room app um maybe brighten up my screen to see you guys can see what I'm working with here is well sorry um so I mean my lighter map like I said I just clicked on the app I can add a collection and I'll say creative live um I go to click on this one from creative live add photos um cool I'm gonna add this photo this one photo I just uploaded one photo successfully important go to it and I have literally all the adjustment tools that I have in light room right here so I can go to blacks I can mess with those right I could go to my vibrant seiken mess with that I can go toe highlights I can tweak that I congratulate exposure I could do all that stuff you even have in here tone curves so you could go to your tone curve and you can tweak that thing if you want you can do whatever you want okay uh when you're done with it khun save it and you just open it up in instagram um light after light you know it's another great app it works really well too um is the same thing you could just select a photo from your camera ll boom right here right use the image and then you can go through and edit all this stuff or you gonna open it straightened instagram a lot of the photos that I edit are edited straight inside instagram as well without going to any third party aps thiss process is really really simple the nice thing about it is all you have to do is get it to that one screen keep the camera in your bag and just you can sift through everything and I love it because it's like this screen are pretty big especially you have six plus or a larger iphone you can see pretty clearly what you're doing and you can really zoom in and check out all the details for it so I've found that um the lighter map for me is that is get you the closest to what you could do on the computer there's even noise reduction software on the app uh there's a lot of other cool brushes and things like that and I just I enjoy working with that one the most sorry didn't going toe raw photos as well I have no idea how to get a raw file on your phone I think there's actually a way to do that now there's like a hack too do that where you can get raw files but I've never edited raw I wouldn't really want a twenty four megapixel right file on my phone in raw format send this photo isn't just compressed into a j j yeah yeah but there's no real point does anyone no matter what you couldn't you couldn't actually send the raw file to your phone your phone won't accept raw images right so if you email yourself a file it's got to be a j peg or maybe some format like that right so uh no matter what that's what you have to get right or have to have to work with but yeah he just compresses it downing there's some different levels of compression you can choose if you want to send it but typically I've never had an issue were like like oh the photos granier bad quality or anything like that uh I just noticed you don't have is much latitude as if you were working online or on sari on a major computer right have you used like the sink and things like that nothing I mean I know that you you have a different work flow er when you're editing in the actual desktop I've never use this thing because I don't I don't look like that you know albums yeah yeah yeah I was just and this it does it runs off like a wifi directors you right okay it's wifi from your camera to your phone gets nfc so there's no it's not bouncing off satellites or anything like that but it works really well and I've I've used it a ton I mean literally ninety nine percent of the images most every image you see when I'm on the road and I'm shooting all added off my phone um almost always yeah it is a huge upgrade over the like the photo shop out that they had out things and it is relatively new so you don't get a whole lot of information they just updated it and now now they have all the tone curves and have a lot of other settings where before it was pretty limited in what you could actually do so I've I've been really happy with it it's a fun way to work you know it's kind of funny because before it was always like you know digital photography you're getting your spending all this time in front of a computer ball blob all of a sudden now I'm realizing like it so much so cool because all of a sudden you could take that mean you could take that file send it to your phone and literally make a book on your phone printed have it to you in a day make prints send it from here to your phone and send it off to be a printed you could it's so amazing what you could do nowadays you know like it's becoming such a quick easy way toe document you know they experiences along the way which is really really special

I've been staying up all night to watch the live broadcast. As somebody else here mentioned (latsok), it's emphasizes on the non-technical aspects (emotion, engagement, colour and composition) rather than the technical stuff like shutter speeds, iso and f-stop. Although I can use some help in both, the technical aspects are not only camera specific but fairly objective as well. The non-technical aspects however are something much harder to grasp. Getting help in this by no-one less than Chris Burkard is just amazing. I bought this class so I can re-watch certain parts of the broadcast again whenever I need it. But also to show my appreciation for Chris Burkard and Creative Live for providing this great online course!
