Christine Tafoya's Graphics Package

So here we are. This is the cat that we've included with your class and within rolling, buying the classic, which absolutely, I am going to be buying myself because I can't wait to go listen to everything except for my own talks. I don't want to see those, but what we've included here is just almost like, ah, graphic starter booster pack that you can use for, uh, embellishing and kind of elevating your own images online on pinch arrest on Facebook. Even on your block, you can use them anywhere. There's no set place, but we did these specifically with pinch arrest in mind to create a little bit added interest to create, draw and customize your photos said that they'll get a little bit more attention. So what we've included We have a list of Google friendly, free and commercial, you know, safe fonts. You can go download any of these funds and we include a list at the that. I'm not showing a photo of, but it also has instructions on how to do everything as well as where to find the funds.

Um, I love those there really clear. They're easy to use, and they they look good from far away, you know? So they're eye catching. I guess what I'm saying. We included a couple of free stock photography sites where you can get some nice photos, and they're all photos that were found on the stock photo sites. There are also tons of other regular paid stock photo sites, but it's hard to find good free photos. If you just need a quick something, you're not going to reuse it. Thes air. Some good resource is so this it looks pretty simple, but it can be used in a 1,000,000 different ways. Um, we have the little dots, the little icons. So starburst, the heart andan, the banners and the pattern. And, of course, the gold, which I know everyone. The gold glitter is the big. Everybody loves that right now. So included that for you guys on Ben. These little words are actually words using those funds that I turned into graphics so you can place those in layer um, without even having to go download that phone. If you don't want Teoh, you just want to put a little shop, you know, or or um you know, something like that. So I am not going to do a full blown live tutorial on it, but I'm going to show you some ways that those elements can be used over a photo for Pinterest. Um, you can see that those are all elements that we included in the kit. It's the colors, a little banners, the dots. All of the colors can be changed except for the gold glitter on. We give you instructions on how to do that. I'm gonna tell you two really quick. Most people have a photo shop, hopefully will need photo shop or something really close to it. A light room to be able to use this until layer. Um and I also I put these examples if you want to refer back to them on our blawg at deluxe motor designed, so you can go check it out there. If you want to refer back to that at any point and then the photo. Thank you, Jennifer. So only really have to do is open up your photo and photo shop and that size is great for Pinterest or a block post. Keeping it long like I know, Melanie has said, and you know, the longer the more impact you will have. So this is kind of size just for Facebook or a smaller pen trust post. But you can dio do either, so you just cropped the photo. If you need Teoh by using the crop tool and then Teoh place it, you want to just have your little folder or file with the images ready. Just handy on your desktop or something, and you want to goto layer and then places this the wrong one. This is how to change the color. Sorry, I think I might have reversed my slides, but we'll talk about how to change the colors and then how to place it. So basically, you go to file, place the image, whichever you can do the dot. You can do the text and you can resize in photo shop and then in order the easiest way that I know to change it, and you guys probably know a lot better ways to do it. But this is how I do it cause it's super fast. Um, you goto layer and then you go Teoh layer style, which is the 2nd 1 Harold, get layer layer style. Where to go here and then you just go to color overlay, so you have to have your little element selected. And that's all you need to do their color overlay. There's my place. When I did reverse some such file place. There it is resize Here we have the color. So once you go to file layer style color overlay, this little red box is gonna pop up. You double click on that box, it's automatically going to turn your image red, which of course, we don't want. But once you double click on that box, you can go into here. You can add your hex color down here. You can go to any color you want and literally change this. Change the text, change any other design elements the color of anything by doing that. So that's the easiest way that I know how to use that. I think that that's, um, unless someone has a better suggestion, something easier. That's how I do it. Well, just just curious as so. So you're doing this in photo shop. But what are some of the other tools that people could use Teoh utilize these elements? Is it really any graphics design tools? So elements? Mostly, yes, that that's good. I I actually exclusively use Adobe Illustrator. I never used photo shop, which is maybe even how I got my slides out of order by by Not by not having the right. Yeah, I think that illustrator is great if you have it. Really? Even you can use Microsoft Word to place these elements you can use. Not sure what else people use. Actually, I'm so in my zone. But what do you use Illustrator Photoshopped? So for photographers, they're all gonna have Photoshopped. But almost all of these files are PNG files, which means they don't have any background. It's just the dot it's just the text. There's no big white box behind it, so you don't have to worry about that. The only files that are a Photoshopped file specifically are the little banners, because some of them have two colors in there. There's the white and the gray in one of the banners, so they'll have to go in and change both of those if they want to make a change. But everything else is a PNG file on be pretty much used anywhere. That's great. Yeah, I think that's what we really wanted to impress on people. Was that what what is in this packages are elements that they can, whether it's using photo shop. I know a lot of people don't know how to use photo shop, so, you know, shot elements. Is this something that you could Melanie use pic monkey four. Could you upload things that Can you? Yeah, I'm good. But this is something. Looks like you could also use in pages because they are just the images. I use pages a lot for this type of stuff. If you have a Mac, you can open it up and you can do photos and different elements and on pic monkey, like, if you're going that route, there are ways to upload your own so you could upload a photo of years than upload one of those p and G's. As far as I am aware of that special, you could actually use that and then do text placement and all that. And then you don't have to download funds. They may have some of the same exact Yeah, yeah. Whatever you can do to make it easier and streamline it, I'm all for it. I think that that's we're all just so busy. We're all just We're all just you know, too much going on and you don't want to be downloading funds Don't like I said the other day, you know, I take a photo from Instagram and I opened an email it to myself and I opened it and I change. And then I save it for the Web there someone said, Well, you just press the button, pin it. OK, cool. I'll have to find out the name of that app. But so that is how to change the color Super easy. Not even a big deal. And then also again, I wanted to give you the website address said that you can go and look at the little examples if you want to refer back to those again.

So glad I saw this and got it to keep. With just a few tweaks, I turned my non-active boards into active boards and quadrupled my followers in just a few days. This spilled over into site traffic AND major lead generation for my mailing list. Thanks for the inspiration, Melanie.
