## Overview

Unlock the full potential of Figma with this comprehensive 18-hour Figma Masterclass, which combines our Figma Bootcamp and Figma Advanced courses.

Figma is a modern design app built with the specific needs of today's web designers, UX designers, and app designers in mind. Unlike image editing programs such as Photoshop, which were originally created for print, photo retouching, or illustration, Figma is focused entirely on designing user interfaces and user experiences. You can craft the visuals and turn them into working prototypes, all within a single app.

Figma uses frames (which other apps call artboards) to efficiently design web layouts for mobile, tablet, and desktop, as well as screens for apps. It is vector-based, so you can scale for a variety of screen sizes with ease and export high-resolution (Retina) graphics for websites, apps, and more. You will find tools and features specifically relevant to UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) design, such as components, built-in prototyping tools, and much more.

In this class, you will learn to create designs and turn them into interactive prototypes that move from screen to screen, open navigation overlays, make specific areas within a screen scrollable, and more. You will even add animations to your designs using Smart Animate and work with advanced prototyping functionality to add more realistic interactions. You will also learn to create flexible design systems with components, styles, variables, and more.

Figma is a web app and fully cloud-based, so collaboration and easy file sharing are built right in. While you can install the Figma desktop app, you can also simply log into Figma in any web browser and start designing without installing anything.
