## Instructors

### Marta Alto

Marta Alto taught costume design at San Francisco State. She then did custom sewing for a major department store where she and met Pati Palmer. She ran its sewing school in four stores.

### Pati Palmer

Pati Palmer is the author or editor/publisher of dozens of sewing books and how-to DVD’s and creator of eight Palmer/Pletsch sewing notion products, including PerfectFuse™ Interfacings.. Palmer has also been designing for The McCall Pattern Co. Since 1980, and Vogue prior to that.
