I purchased this class because I wanted to get started with digital scrapbooking. Traci is clearly an experienced scrapbooker and she uses photoshop with ease. However, this class was not what I was looking for. On one hand, as an amateur photoshop user I already knew most of what Traci explained. On the other hand, I had to google certain scrapbooking terms such as "Pocket Scrapbook" and I realised that there are actually many websites with templates for scrapbooking (I had no clue). That was helpful, but could have been explained to me in 5 minutes. Pocket Scrapbooks were about one third of the class and I realised that I do not like this style. So make sure you know what your getting into. In the meantime, I had a peek into some other classes and found "Scrapbook your Story" a great introduction and a very inspirational course (even tough it is not specifically for digital scrapbooking and therefore won't show specific processes). I also think "Mixed Media for Digital Scrapbookers" might turn out to be a great course which focuses on digital scrapbooking, but includes digitising physical objects as well. So if you are like me and have some experience with photoshop but not with scrapbooking, I would recommend choosing one of those courses.

I'm currently halfway through the courses, and I am so glad I decided to watch these. I haven't been scrapping for very long, and am mostly self taught through tutorials found on the internet and youtube. I found that various concepts weren't explained to me (how to really use a template, designer intentions, how to use other layouts for inspiration) and so I sort of hit a wall trying to get further in scrapping digitally. This course basically broke down the walls and provided me with so much info and inspiration that I feel really comfortable in taking my efforts further. Whereas before I was thinking that I might always be stuck with a mediocre result :) thank you Traci!!
