Since the moment Dune experienced the grace of a 15' wing span spotted eagle ray, she committed to improving ocean health through reducing human-caused stressors through both her personal life and professional pursuits. Dune believes in the critical role data, technology and storytelling play in developing empathy and inspiring action. Dune was an inaugural member of Al Gore's The Climate Project, co-founder of The Green Sports Alliance and former head of Paul G Allen's Vulcan Philanthropy including development and management of his climate, ocean health, wildlife conservation and education portfolios and his $100M Ebola campaign commitment. Dune holds her Ph.D. in psychology.
