# AI UX & UI Design Bootcamp

## Overview

Where does AI genuinely help a UX team, and where does it just make confident noise? This bootcamp works through that question across the whole process — research and synthesis, personas, journey maps, user flows, strategy, UI ideation, critique, usability testing, accessibility review, UX writing and documentation.

In practice that means using AI to sort research into themes, draft artifacts you then edit, pressure-test interface decisions, condense usability findings, and convert scattered observations into a ranked set of recommendations. The discipline matters as much as the tooling: prompt clearly, review everything, decide on evidence, and hold to ethical standards.

He has also taught user experience design at General Assembly and lectured on playful design at MIT and Haverford College. In his former lives, Michael covered arts and culture as a journalist, shipped award-winning educational games as a digital producer, and participated in two successful startup exits as a founding designer (SwitchUp acquired by Optimal in 2018, VocaliD acquired by Veritone in 2022). Raised in Hong Kong and educated in Vermont, he now lives in Queens, NY.
