## Overview

Data analytics is the process of transforming raw data into actionable insights used across industries like healthcare, finance, and retail. In this course, you will learn how to analyze and visualize data to solve complex business problems and improve decision-making.

- **Master Data Analytics with Excel and SQL:** Learn to leverage Excel's advanced tools like Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and macros while developing essential SQL skills to retrieve, filter, and sort data from databases. Combine these skills to streamline workflows and manage large datasets.
- **Automate and Visualize Data with Python and Tableau:** Use Python to automate repetitive tasks such as web scraping and reporting, then transform data into compelling visual stories using Python libraries and Tableau. Build interactive dashboards and deploy your projects to showcase analytical expertise.
- **Build Machine Learning Models:** Use Python to clean, balance, and analyze data with libraries like Pandas and scikit-learn. Apply machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems, then evaluate and refine your models to ensure accurate predictions.
- **Gain Expertise in Advanced Analytical Techniques:** Dive deeper into data analysis by learning how to clean and interpret data using advanced statistical tools and Python libraries. Develop problem-solving skills through real-world techniques such as regression analysis, forecasting, and prescriptive analytics.

## What you'll learn

- Learn how to use Excel to manipulate and visualize data.
- Gather, clean, analyze, and visualize data with the Python programming language using scientific libraries.

## FAQ

### Is there mandatory work outside of the classroom?

Students are not required to complete any work outside of class. However, we provide students with bonus materials if they would like extra practice.

### How does the custom schedule work and what is the recommended class order?

We have scheduled the certificate classes in various tracks (day, night, or weekend) for your convenience, but you can customize your schedule. When creating a custom schedule, you’ll be able to choose between the various available dates for each class in the certificate program. If you can’t make a particular class, you can choose a different scheduled instance that works better for you. Please keep the following in mind when scheduling: You must take the Python for Data Science Bootcamp before taking any of the other Python courses (because the other courses build on that course). You must take Excel for Data Analytics before taking Data Analytics Foundations (because you’ll be using Excel in that class). Besides the above requirements, the classes may be taken in any order; however, the schedules on the website represent our recommended class order.

### What kind of laptop is suitable for completing the work in this course?

Any laptop with the below specifications would be suitable: OS: macOS Sequoia or Windows 11 Model from 2021 onward is preferred RAM: should be at least 16GB 13.6-inch (2560 x 1664) display or larger
