## FAQ

Students are required to complete class projects outside of class hours for the Video Editing Bootcamp and Motion Graphics Bootcamp classes. ### How does the custom schedule work and what is the recommended class order?

We have scheduled the certificate classes in various tracks (day, night, or weekend) for your convenience, but you can customize your schedule. When creating a custom schedule, you’ll be able to choose between the various available dates for each class in the certificate program. If you can’t make a particular class, you can choose a different scheduled instance that works better for you. Please keep the following in mind when scheduling: We highly recommend taking Premiere Pro before After Effects . You must take the After Effects Bootcamp before After Effects Advanced . You must take Premiere Pro before taking the Video Editing Bootcamp class (because you’ll be using those apps as you work on projects for your demo reel). ### I’m not great with either Photoshop or Illustrator but I really like motion graphics. What should I do?

That’s OK! But we do suggest that you take both the Photoshop in a Day and Illustrator in a Day courses before taking the courses in the Motion Graphics Certificate. The Photoshop and Illustrator in a Day courses are designed to get you comfortable with all the basics of both apps, in a short amount of time, and together provide a great foundation for the Motion Graphics Certificate.

If you’ve never used Photoshop, consider taking either our Photoshop in a Day or Photoshop Bootcamp class.
