So far, I'm a bit disappointed with this class, and I was hoping for MUCH more. I think this is way overpriced for $149 for purchase during "live event'. You only get 15 days, 1 hour or 30 min each day, so, figure tops you're getting 12 hours max. I'm estimating about 10-11 hours, but I'm only on day 9 at the time of this review. Week 1 - I felt was largely useless. Yes, Jen is a very nice presenter, and there is 'some' meat in here, but the first 2x days the 'live' days were just her talking in general, giving the syllabus and some gear talk. This also started kicking things off as somewhat more of an infomercial for her Guides and products on her website, rather than a class full of content. She advertises a Lingerie guide, and a Posing Guide but you have to go to her site, and put in a code to get 10% off. With the price of this class, I would have hoped they would be included. If they were, I might change my thoughts on the value of this class. Day 3 was her NYC studio tour. Ok, it was nice, but passed on virtually nothing of use for a budding boudoir photog. It was only maybe 30 min, and honestly should not take up an entire "day" of the class. I didn't see all of Day 4, but what I did see, was nice. Day 5 - There was some useful information here. But again, a VERY short video, mostly of Jen in a lingerie store picking up items and talking about them. Again, some of this was useful. What would have made it worth more like the $149 price point, would have been her printed guide to go with this. Again, I was expecting more in-depth for this class. In all honesty, I missed days 6 and 7. I really wanted to see these classes, and hope to catch them on rewatch and will review based on what I see when I catch them. Day 8 - There was some useful stuff here, Jen shooting models. It was mostly her instructing the model and shooting, but I was hoping for more detailed explanations on the "why" you do this or that, than just saying " do this, move here, " and showing it on the monitor. Again, not a complete loss and I don't mean to be too hard here, I got some good info from this day, just was hoping for a bit more on the level of other CL instructors like Lou Freeman, or Sue Bryce. I know everyone has their own style, but for something as specialized as Boudoir, I was hoping for more guidance specifically on posing for catching the curves, shadows, etc of the feminine physique. Day 9 - Just finished watching. You're watching Jen shoot a model in her NYC studio. Some useful information. Her giving instructions to model in front of natural light (window) and with strobe, mostly against a wall. Again, interesting to watch, I picked up some gems of info, but again was hoping for more detail and instruction on "why", "how", what this does vs that? Jen on some days has shown some "bad" things not to do, which I like...but just didn't seem to be a detailed as some of the greats of CL past. This is as far as I've seen so far, I'll try to update as it goes, but to date, I don't see it worth $149 vs her last class (which I saw parts of )....which gave you 3x full day classes for a sale price now of $99. 11-12 hours vs approx 18 or so hours? And the informercial aspect of this class annoys me some. Every day it seems she hawks her guides to buy on her website, which I think could be a PART of this class to make it a value. I'm not thrilled paying $149 just to see what I can get if I pop over to her website and spend more money to get a guide for what she should be teaching in-depth here. Anyway, I hope I'm not to rough, but I had VERY HIGH expectations on this class, I've been wanting to see a new CL class with boudoir as the subject since it is so specialized. So far, I'm somewhat underwhelmed, but hoping for a strong finish. I'm happy to heap praise on really well done classes and instructors, but this so far is not it. Certainly not on the level of say Sue Bryce's 28 days, which came with multiple printed guides, each class was at least an hour or more, and was VERY detailed and easy to follow. Anyway, will see what the other half of this class does and update later.

I think this course is great, my question was about a Facebook comment made that if a man has a bunch of likes that are female pages..., I agree and disagree in marketing they thought me to like your interest and hopefully future clients. How do I make it safe for clients and future clients? I am a Talent Agent and use to model and learning Boudior is my way of helping my models and business ,I want to also produce a magazine from my agency ,I was going to buy both franchises years ago but I want to do it myself in one company so I'm learning boudior photography to help me a beginning photographer pose women something I do not know I still pose women like family photos. The courses in green screen and other photo classes are just about lighting and position not what position, as a Videographer same thing no posing skill, business video production doesn't teach it all my courses are pro-stuff and tech nothing about what poses my models do. This will help my Video Production Business and Photography Business and my Model Agency...., thanks! I need this course so my models are comfortable and my clients feel comfortable I'm a shy person and I don't want me being uncomfortable make everyone feel weird!

Thank you Jen great Bootcamp! I'm starting my boudoir photography business and you have given me so many tools to succeed. I would have like to see more of the why in the posing as opposed to I don't like this let's change it as posing is the biggest challenge for me. I was particularly happy to see how you use your TD6 to create window light. That's what I use since my studio windows are too high when the client is laying on the bed. I really enjoyed your hidden gem video as well as the male versus female. You are an amazing teacher, thank you for your generosity!
