iPhone Photography Masterclass: The Habits with Jack Hollingsworth

Tue, Jun 30, 7–8:30pm ET Live Online

This seminar is for CreativeLive subscribers only. Not subscribed? Start here! This session applies everything from the first two masterclasses to real-world shooting situations. Each destination represents a different photographic genre—photowalking, road-tripping, exotic travel, model work, coastal scenes, mindful photography, cruise photography, color, portraiture, and interiors. Students see how an experienced photographer works in each environment: what to look for, how to read a scene, and how to adapt an approach to match the subject in front of you. The goal is to turn technical and compositional knowledge into instinct that holds up anywhere. This class includes a dedicated 30 minutes of Q&A with Jack Hollingsworth. What You'll Learn Apply core technical and compositional skills to real shooting situations, anytime and anywhere. Adapt your approach across genres—photowalking, travel, coastal, portraiture, interiors, and more. Read any environment quickly and recognize what's worth photographing and why. Develop an intentional eye that holds up regardless of subject or location. Understand how a working photographer thinks through and shoots different scenes. Build the confidence to make deliberate photographs in unfamiliar places and conditions. Who It's For Photographers who want to shoot with intention wherever they go. Travelers and road-trippers who want to come home with photos worth keeping. iPhone shooters ready to apply their skills outside controlled settings. Hobbyists looking to develop a consistent eye across many subjects and locations. Anyone who wants to confidently photograph any scene, genre, or destination they encounter. Tue, Jul 7, 7–10:30pm ET Live Online

This seminar is for CreativeLive subscribers only. Not subscribed? Start here! Anamorphic Cinematography on a Budget is a practical class that explores one of the most recognizable looks in cinema and shows how to achieve it without expensive gear. This class is designed for photographers moving into video, videographers exploring anamorphic lenses, smartphone creators looking for a more filmic look, and hobbyists curious about cinematic storytelling. You’ll see how affordable anamorphic options work across smartphones, mirrorless cameras, vintage projector lens setups, and digital simulations, with a focus on choosing the right setup for your goals and budget. The class also covers a practical post-production workflow for desqueezing, editing, color grading, and exporting anamorphic footage in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. By the end, you’ll have a clear understanding of how to begin shooting anamorphic video intentionally, using the look not just as an effect, but as a visual language for storytelling. This class includes a dedicated 30 minutes of Q&A directly with Eugenio. What You'll Learn Understand what makes the anamorphic look different from standard video. Explain squeeze ratios, widescreen framing, horizontal flares, oval bokeh, and lens character in simple terms. Choose an anamorphic setup that fits your camera, budget, and experience level.
