This was a great course I learned a lot and would recommend this class to anyone looking to understand the fundamentals of photography.

As someone who has dabbled in photography but never understood the intricacies of the camera or how to work a good shot utilizing the various features of a camera and equipment, John did an excellent job to help me understand the camera, how it works, the settings to use, how to take shots manually, and how to make it all work for you. He also does an excellent job of encouraging you to not be discouraged if your first shot isn't perfect. The only way to get better is to keep shooting! Thank you John!

Took the course online and really liked John's teaching methodology which is focused not only in the practical component but also in the theory behind how some aspects of photography works.

If you are interested in photography, and you know nothing...Please take this class. The Fundamentals of Photography is the perfect springboard for the photography novice that wants to learn all the nuances of the photography. At its core, all aspects of the camera and lens are explained in detail; the what, why, and how are genuinely explained with PowerPoints/Keynote presentations and videos to support the lesson.

Maybe the best photography class out there. John Greengo knows what he is doing.

Truly excellent course. John is incredibly knowledgable, highly engaging, and has designed a deeply comprehensive course that has improved my understanding and skills hugely. You will be inspired! It may take weeks, like it did for me, to get through it, but the effort will be more than worth it. My only constructive feedback is that the titling of several of the sections does not fully capture the essence of the topic, especially in later sections. But having the slide decks makes it easy to locate topics so you can go back and re-watch them. I'm sure I will be going back to this course for quite some time. I'm grateful to have access to it.
