As a vintage shop owner and an avid crafter, you can imagine how many bags of vintage scraps I’ve accumulated. If I find a beautiful dress in utter disrepair, I try to find a way to make its incredible fabric last by using scraps as gift wrap or making a pennant banner, for instance.

Well one day, I finally decided to do just that. I have an entire drawer of envelopes full of paper memories: fliers, tickets, cards, photos, and other memorabilia.

I was never the girl with a shoe fetish. Of course, I appreciate a pretty pair of heels like any self-respecting fashion lover, but I’ve always had more of an eye for vintage scarves.

For me, nothing is more satisfying than coming home to several rooms full of stories. A few framed concert posters conjure up musical memories and good times had at various times in my life.
