A winner of Platinum, Silver and Bronze Cannes Lions awards for commercial directing and a Pulitzer Prize for his photography in the New York Times, Vincent Laforet is known for his groundbreaking approach to image-making and storytelling. His photography has appeared in Vanity Fair, The New York Times Magazine, National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek, and Life among others.
Vincent is a pioneer in filmmaking utilizing HD-capable DSLR cameras, as well as innovative tilt-shift and aerial photography techniques.
Alex Blumberg is a radio journalist and producer known for his work on Chicago Public Media’s This American Life and NPR’s Planet Money. His hour-long radio documentary on the housing crisis, The Giant Pool of Money, garnered Peabody, Polk, and a duPont-Columbia awards. Blumberg executive produced Showtime’s television version of This American Life, winning four Emmy awards including the award for best non-fiction television series, as well as the interactive web documentary Planet Money Makes a T-shirt, which was nominated for another Emmy.
Kurt Ballou is one of the most prolific members of the hardcore/punk/metal community, serving double duty as both the guitarist for Converge and founder of Boston’s GodCity Studios.
Kurt has produced critically-acclaimed albums for bands including Champion, Have Heart, Kvelertak, Cave In and Nails. Hailed as “one of the most in demand producers in the scene right now, and with good cause” by Gear Gods, Kurt has been featured in Vice, Music Radar, and Tape Op and is a member of the Decibel Hall of Fame for Converge’s seminal album, “Jane Doe.”

Ben Willmore is a member of the Photoshop Hall of Fame who has taught over 100,000 Photoshop users on six continents. His teaching style has won acclaim world wide, leading him to become the in-house Photoshop instructor of choice for companies such as Mercedes Benz, Adobe Systems, the U.S. Air Force, Lexis-Nexis and Fisher-Price Toys.
Ben wrote the classic award-winning, best-selling book, Adobe Photoshop Studio Techniques which has been described by the publisher of Photoshop User Magazine as “arguably, one of the best Photoshop books ever written.”
