  • Really enjoyed Adam's class and found it informative and helpful. One point of constructive criticism... When you are a public speaker, it is hugely distracting to keep saying "um" as frequently as he does. That's something he really needs to work on. Other than that, I really enjoyed his presentation.

  • One of, if not the best technical photography workshop on Creative Live. I can confidently say, regardless of your skill level from amateur to pro, you will get something from this workshop. Doesn’t speak down to you & uses clear, easy to understand terms, without insulting your intelligence. Highly recommend..

  • Love it! 💯

  • awesome!!

  • Great work!

  • This is very valuable class for the people taking photographs of people. The class is shorter than other classes but full of information that need to know for portrait photography.

  • This course was my introduction to Don Giannatti and his style of teaching. I have re-watched this class several times over the past few years and continue to pickup a tip or technique I missed before (or forgot.) If you are interested in learning how to photograph products, this courses is The place to start. (Much of the info here is also great for Still Life photography.)

  • YIKES you gotta edit out that "American Indian" shoot - I guess she doesn't know about cultural appropriation, or how racist that term is.

  • Very informative! Andrew Scrivani is an amazing artist who is very generous with all the information in this course. I feel motivated and more confident in my work. Food photography has so many layers, and Mr. Scrivani peeled it back like an onion.

  • OK, I’m only halfway through this 13 year old video on lighting. Other than amazing, wow, and I love this guy, I have a couple thoughts. #1 His explanations are so to the point and effective, I don’t know what to make of it. I’ve never experienced a presenter in *anything* so effective. #2 I view on 1.25x speed so his “uuums” are not a distraction. I’m really sensitive to people that do “ummm.”

  • Courses are useful, but so slow...could be sum up 2 days in 45 min....

    The Headshot with Peter Hurley

Very cool headshot basics and why HEART matters in the portrait photography!

  • NEVER ever touch a model. I question some of his settings also.

  • Fantastic!!

  • I like his classes, I have watched them before. I thought this one would newer. I signed up just to watch his series on here and they are a bit outdated. Also, he seems very parched. Drinks a lot during the class. It’s more of a photoshop course.

  • Love Peter's ideas but this series defines "infomercials".

  • Hi Mathew, Quanisha Moody, Makeup Artist here. I love how you acknowledge the makeup artist and her contribution to the photoshoot. Most photographers make themselves the star of the show and not anyone else. So thank you and I also love how you debunked the... what I call "myth" that a photographer has to change their setup for each look. I am learning beauty photography because I choose to shoot my own portfolio work and it's very easy to get it twisted when you see "other" photographers doing different setups. Thank you Mathew🙏🏽

  • Simply outstanding!

  • One of the best workshops I have seen in the last years! Thank you for this!

  • Awesome work done in the restaurant in a tight space with limited light. The actual shots taken and then spliced throughout the video were very helpful to see how you were both composing in camera. What a fun shoot!

  • I'm already a photographer but I've learned so so much watching the lessons of Joel Grimm. Thank you for all the tips that you gave throughout this course and also for your energy ! Really like it !

  • A really enjoyable course! I really enjoyed getting an inside look at Theron's philosophy and approach to his photography work. I picked up so many good points to help me better define the work that I do and the direction I want to go with it. I did have to go back and watch a few things because Maddie was so happily distracting. I found myself watching her and missed what he said. Ha! I felt like this course was true to how it was advertised - approach and tips for getting commercial work. Next, I'd love to see a little more technical course from Theron that shares his how and why for gear, light capture, and angles for the outdoor shoots like those shared in this course. I'm really inspired by the simplicity of his production.

  • From Zero to Hero Awesome workshop to not only get my first taste of automotive shoots, but I am walking away with a shoot set-up and planned to create speck work and present brands with decks. I loved how Aaron really explained everything he was doing. He rocks.

  • Amazing and WORTH IT! I have followed Aaron Brimhall for a while now and when I saw he was releasing a workshop I knew I had to get it! If you are wanting to shoot anything in motion or automotive action this is the workshop for you!

  • Rad Workshop! This was well worth my money and time spent. Tons of knowledge found throughout.
