Logic Pro Classes Online

This songwriting course does a great job of breaking down the process in a way that feels both practical and inspiring. The instructor explains melody, lyrics, and chord progressions clearly, using real-world examples that make it easy to follow along. It’s perfect for beginners but still offers useful insights for more experienced songwriters. Some parts could go a bit deeper, especially on advanced techniques, and a few more hands-on exercises would make it even better. Overall, though, it’s a solid, well-paced course that gives you real tools to improve your songwriting.

I revisit these lessons quite often. I'm not so fortunate to retain everything through one viewing. But having viewed the entire course twice, there are certain lessons I revisit as needed. There is a TON of material covered. It is supposed to be a beginner class but I am sure there are things Travis covers that would benefit intermediate users equally. My only complaint is that he does not have a follow-up course. Come on, Travis - give us another one!

This is the course I've always wanted to have. I feel like a pro now ^^ Also Travis is a great Teacher. Hopefully he comes back for even more advanced Logic Tutorials.

Extraordinarily well done. My long time expertise is with video production ... Avid and Final Cut Pro so I understand the learning curve in tools like Logic. But I was simply “blown away” by the quality and content in this class. I had already poured through two other video based courses and decided to try Travis’ course based on his credentials. It’s not even close: this course is superior to anything else out there. Here’s why: 1. He uses deep and creative real world examples based on his production experience. 2. He is a master of every feature of Logic Pro and then gives you precise examples of how to use those features to deliver a great production. 3. His “layered” approach to presenting the concepts makes the content “stick”. He doesn’t just turn on the fire hose of content, but brings in key features at just the right time. 4. He covers everything and showed me how to save a ton a money because of all the unique built in features. For example, because of his broad experience with 3rd party plugins and libraries, he showed how Logic meets and exceeds those other tools. 5. His style and communication ability is top notch. This is a long course ... I think this was done live over 3 days but absolutely worth my investment in time. I wish I had come here first.

Picked up a lot of good information from this class. Ed is very knowledgeable, and takes us through the technique and the thought process of sound production, composition, mixing, and mastering. Towards the end of the course, at times it felt a little disjointed, as the segments switched between different tracks; but the information provided was good, once I got oriented. Would definitely recommend this course.

This is a great course. Travis is an excellent teacher, as well as an interesting and relaxed speaker. I liked the casual classroom environment, which gives the impression of being in the room as well. I learned so many great Logic Pro tips. Highly recommend and enjoyed!

Ed Solo is a absolute legend and to watch how he puts his tunes together is mind blowing! The lad is a master of his craft and one of the best people to learn in the DnB scene PERIOD!! Big up Ed!

Fantastic course. I was on the fence as to whether I was going to spend the time and money on this course or just try to learn LP simply by using it for my recordings and incrementally gaining experience. I can say I am *extremely* happy I chose the former route-- LP is a complex and very powerful bundle of software and there is no chance that I would have discovered some of the incredible time-saving and creativity-expanding features any time in the near future without having gone through this course. Travis Kasperbauer is an ideal instructor and is experienced enough to not only know how to use all of LP's features but also to understand where new users are likely to get confused or stuck. I would recommend this course to anyone getting started with LP or even to mid-level users who might not be using the LP feature set to its fullest extent. To CreativeLive: (echoing the reviews of others) get that advanced course recorded ASAP-- there's no question I'll sign up if it's half as good as this one!

Highly recommended course. Digs into a lot of the finer points you miss if you're new to Logic and just dive in yourself. What's covered there is worth the price of admission. Travis has an easy going style and explains things very clearly. Only quirk is that the music feed was mono so all the mixing involving the panning didn't translate well.

This guy is great ,one of the best teachers of logic I have came across,this is much more than just a entry course ,it will get you up and working in logic ,I am looking forward to more courses with him ,he said he was going to do final cut pro ,and i am looking forward to it !!!! Thank You Travis

I've been using Logic for several years but I had many unanswered questions about its proper functionality. This class has taught me so much and I love Travis's methodology. It has helped me with my own workflow and I hope CL does a LOGIC X advanced class with Travis.

Have taken several classes on CL and they're excellent, and none better than Travis' Logic course. Clear, succinct and thorough. If you're a newbie like me, the first day is worth the price of admission!

This was my first experience with this type of online workshop/class and I found it to be invaluable. I am currently on sabbatical and this was very timely for my sabbatical project. Creative Live should be congratulated for the initiative in providing this service and Mr. Kasperbauer was the ideal teacher for this. He was very well organized and prepared, incredibly positive, and kept on task throughout. I hope you follow up with an advanced class.

I have wanted to learn how to use a more comprehensive DAW for a long time. Anytime I would watch someone in the studio or a tutorial online I would feel extremely overwhelmed and give up a little bit. I am overjoyed with how confident I feel after watching Travis teach this class on Logic Pro X! The way that he shares information is super easy to follow and understand and he knows the software inside and out. I truly got so much more out this course than I was expecting and can't wait to start writing and recording!!! I plan on dedicating myself to LPX wholeheartedly so I will be ready for Travis to teach the next course!!!!
