All I have to say is I love Sue. Thank you!!
Chris Knight is not only a master photographer, he's a master educator. The way he uses technology to illustrate challenging areas is pure genius. I also love the way he brings history into his teachings. We're blessed to have educators like Chris in the community.
One of the best instruction about DB i have seen. So well explained, good pace, lots of valuable stuff in this class. I saw many classes about this topic, so there are many ways to do DB. Only question i have is more particular about retouching, are there not newer techniques?
Jen is simply awesome. Enjoyed everything in this class
Very interesting look at natural and strobe/constant light photography. I found it interesting that Felix was able to replicate, using lights, the natural lighting Sue Bryce used. Lessons kept moving, with very few lulls in the lesson plan.
I do like the class, but sometimes is sounds like she is talking to a dog when she is giving direction - can imagine her saying sit, roll over, good girl :)
She is my favorite photographer to watch. So articulate, tasteful, and creative. The esthetic I love. So calm cool and collected. 🙌
I love this course! After the 101 this one is taking it to the next level, especially that our everyday subjects are not model size. Very helpful tips!
This gave me tips and tricks to remember for myself as well. It is worth taking notes and then taking notes during the presentation as well. I learned so many new things and I am ready to give them all a try!
This class gets down to the nitty-gritty of smoothing skin and creating a 3D illusion. I really liked the way Kristina showed how to combine tools to save time and the frequency separator method she uses. The class notes (to download) are detailed so I didn't need to take notes - love that! Note to Kristina: Love the shark fin!
I just love Lindsay's work! It's so impressive; especially the sampling photos captured of the elderly gentleman. It brought all she taught throughout the video together seamlessly! I'm so going to watch this over and over again!
It is incredible how much this workshop is helping me, Im watching it over and over again, thanks!!
Hi Mathew, Quanisha Moody, Makeup Artist here. I love how you acknowledge the makeup artist and her contribution to the photoshoot. Most photographers make themselves the star of the show and not anyone else. So thank you and I also love how you debunked the... what I call "myth" that a photographer has to change their setup for each look. I am learning beauty photography because I choose to shoot my own portfolio work and it's very easy to get it twisted when you see "other" photographers doing different setups. Thank you Mathew🙏🏽
Excellent learning
A good class and information is easy to understand. But in the general world, some us do not have models & clients with perfect skin. Wish this was demonstrated on a person with a few more problem areas, so we can really see the improvement on the person.
How good did her client feel after that session!!! Start to finish an excellent class- Shots were amazing, relaxed, well paced work flow.... enjoyed this class very much
Very useful. |Thank you
Amazing class. So many gems. Sue is an incredible story teller, educator and inspirer.
Excellent, just Excellent. I am very keen on the classical forms, the psychology and human reactions to shape and from. This certainly gave a great foundation. I would add, of the multiple shapes in each pose (which the tutor obviously is familiar with). The triangles, circles, points, lines, that repeat and balance out to the human interaction with the image. Plus the classical 'S' shape, avoiding imbalance. There is so much in these poses, how the brain reacts to simplicty in a shape and form. In the same way as the golden mean of thirds applies to landscapes (as the ancient Greeks/Romans knew.. Love it all, many thanks
Sue Bryce and Felix Kunze brilliantly create the lighting that is used in natural lighting, then the same light is recreated into studio lighting, for professional use in this course. This class and 28 days with Sue Bryce are a must for working professionals. Thank you Sue, Felix and CreativeLive.
Exceptional, this is the real course on contemporary glamour photography, I came away with so much more knowledge to use then I expected. I am so excited about shooting using what I learned. Sue Bryce's technique is flawless. She is a fantastic educator. I highly recommend this course for all levels. Thank you Sue and also CreativeLive for producing this course.
This video is from 2011? It’s 10 years old? Really?
Photography is a hobby for me, and I have read a lot about lighting and posing. I wish that I had taken this course when I started out, it is clear, practical and structured without being overwhelming. Best recommendations.
This is by far the most comprehensive tutorial I have ever come across in CreativeLive. She not only provided high end tips and advise but also covered details on gear, props and a code of conduct. Loved it!
My eyes have been open to wheat have been missing. This class is a great tool to have for anyone struggling to go further. Is almost like a therapy session for photographers. I didn’t get the feminist tone in this class as stated by others, but I wasn’t looking for it knowing that it’s an all female session. Highly recommended for anyone, male or female
