A gift they'll keep using
Most gifts get opened once. A year of classes keeps going. Someone learns to light a portrait, cut an edit faster or price their work, and that stays with them.
Every class is taught by someone who does the work for a living. There's a live class every week, and the recordings stay up, so they can learn whenever they have time.
Gift questions
When will they get their gift?
On the day you choose. We email them at the time you pick, in your time zone. If you choose "right after checkout", we email them as soon as you have paid.
Can the membership start on a different day?
Yes. Pick any start date in the next 12 months, on or after the day we email them. Their year begins that day.
What if they are already a member?
We add a full year to the end of their current membership. If they pay for their own, their next charge moves out by a year.
Does a gift membership renew?
No. A gift is a single payment. It never renews, and neither of you is charged again.
How do they start?
The email has one button. It sets up their account, or finds the one they already have, and signs them in.
Can I change their email address or the dates?
Yes, until the gift is sent. Use the link in your receipt. You can change the start date until the membership begins.
What is included?
Everything a Creator Pass includes: our live classes, their recordings and the on-demand library. Classes from our partner schools and class bundles are sold separately. See the Subscription & Pricing section of our FAQ for the full list.
Can I get a refund on a gift?
Gift memberships are not refundable. If something is wrong with a gift, email support@creativelive.com and we will help.
Can I give a gift card instead?
Yes. Choose "A gift card" at the top of the gift form and pick an amount, or type your own. They can spend it on any class or on a Creator Pass. Gift cards never expire.
How does the recipient use a gift card?
They claim it from the email we send, and the amount is added to their account as store credit. At checkout they can apply it to any class or to a Creator Pass, and pay any difference by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
