"If I had a dream job it would to be combining my love of landscapes with documenting life. This is from Diablo Lake Overlook with The Milky Way shining over Colonial and Pyramid Peaks in the North Cascades. The lights from the dam illuminate the low clouds."

What did you create this weekend? Check out this ? CreativeLive student Jorge Gonzalez captured after taking our Nature and Landscape Photography class from John Greengo. Here's what Jorge had to say about this incredible shot: "I took this photo at the ¨festival international del globo 2012¨ on a road trip some friends and I did to Leon, Guanajuato, México. The balloons take off very early and you have to walk a lot to get there. When we arrived, the balloons were already taking off, so I took out my camera and started running. Suddenly I was in the middle of the crowd and it was impossible to take a decent shot, so I got out of the crowd to appreciate the whole event. Get to know one of our students, @akilbourne: "The Birds! was taken on Lake Erie at Headlands Beach State Park in Mentor, Ohio. The gulls hang out on the beach in the evening. The park ranger drove by and agitated them into flying and they flew into the sunset I was photographing."

I was out shooting in Chicago, and photographed this fountain 3 days in a row.
