Crochet

I'm completely new to crocheting and this class was extremely helpful. It was concise and thorough at the same time. I feel confident that I can complete the sample projects included in the course and I can't wait to get started!

Vickie did a great job explaining all the lessons, but sadly, when it came time to show the end of a row stitch or where to start the next row, the camera angles were poorly placed and unable to see critical stitches on every lesson, making it impossible to see what was happening. It would be wonderful if they could re film critical points with close up of the stitches and maybe overhead close up views of her actively working stitches as well.

I just love learning new ideas for craft projects. I wish I had known about this when I ruined all those wool sweaters in the wash. I could have made felted flowers. The reason I wanted to watch initially was to learn how to unravel sweaters to save money on yarn.

Great course for beginners such as myself. But camera angle is in a poor place. You cannot see where she is going into with crochet hook and that is most important.

This is a great project. It gives me confidence that I can do this. She is a very good teacher and easy to follow along with.

The camera angle from the side makes it difficult to see exactly what she is doing. For example, inserting hook in 2nd chain from the hook, all one can see are her hands and not the hook.

Great video! Beautiful pattern. Wish the camera would zoom in more on her hands when doing the stitch work. I adore Vickie Howell. She is a great teacher. Cannot wait to see more of her videos in the future. I can't wait to make my cardigan!

I just want to say that I'm watching from Australia and because of the time difference I only got to catch the last few lessons (it started at 1am). I'm so sorry I didn't see the other lessons. Vickie was an excellent instructor and I enjoyed what I did see SO much. Thank you.

I learned something new in the first five minutes. Vicki is a wonderful teacher. She encourages "design elements" so there is no "wrong" way to do something. I highly recommend any of her classes!

OMG! Vicki is an amazing instructor and person all around! The information I got from viewing this class is priceless. Vicki shares so much insight and gives down to earth examples. IF you come away with just one piece of information useful to you, your money will have been well spent. I got LOTS of great tips.

I must say this: I have taken several courses offered on CL. This was, by far, the most intense, fact-filled, class you have ever had. The fact she taught so much in so little time makes me wonder how we could all improve our delivery. Kudos, Vickie! Whenever you teach another course here, I want to be the first to sign up! Woot!
