All new crafting for me. Loved it. Great tips and advice!
This was a great class that exceeded my expectations. It will definitely take your digital art to the next level. Tiffany obviously loves teaching this class and her enthusiasm is contagious. I only have two minor criticisms. First, Tiffany virtually flies through the class material. Slowing down would really help. At certain points I almost gave up. Second would be the use of Photoshop vs. PS Elements. I had to watch multiple times to figure out how to translate Photoshop into Elements. Perhaps a written guide for Elements users would be in order. Overall I learned a lot. I can't wait to see what Tiffany's next topic will be.
Super short class but had the info I needed to start! Thank you
Great course, lots of information. I've been digi scrapping in elements for several years and using photoshop is going to be a game changer.
Instructor is very knowledgeable. Love that he has a very soothing voice. I LOVE his teaching style-he is very encouraging of his students to experiment, and I love that he comments on their creations during the session causing you to see elements of their creations that you might have otherwise missed.
Great class. I learned so much with your technique
Great Class very informative about stamp making.
Loved his style. Thorough instructions and easy to understand. Can't wait to try everything.
Great class and projects. Teacher is very good. Sometimes she went too fast, and I had to backtrack to understand something, but for the most part, it went pretty smoothly. This class is really advanced and takes time to absorb all the info as well as to follow along doing the steps, so have time set aside to work. I didn't understand the role of the audience as there was no real participation or them working along, too. It just looks like they are there so the teacher has someone to talk to? Also, the mic is too close to the throat ;)
I really liked this class! What I was wanting to learn is how to do photo transfers and I learned that and more. It was neat to see how stamps can be incorporated into the project. My 8-year-old son jumped in as I watched and now wants to give this type of project a try too. Perfect for our new homeschool life.
I have spent a small fortune buying classes from Creative Live, and I have learned a great deal from many terrific instructors. This class ranks as the #1 best class I have purchased from Creative Live. It was done in 2014, and the changes and improvements in Lightroom since then are far too numerous to count. However, I just watched the entire class again (August, 2018) and I realized that the class is as valuable today as it was when I originally purchased it. The title says it is for Scrapbookers, but it could have been Lightroom for Everyone. Jared covers every part of Lightroom as it existed in 2014, not just Library and Develop! He has a marvelous teaching style that motivates and inspires one to grab a camera and go take great images. Yes, it is dated. Yes, it is a long course - but only because it thoroughly covers a vast amount of information about Lightroom. And, yes, it still has real value in 2018, and I plan to rewatch it once a year now for the motivation it provides and the incentive to bring myself up-to-date on ALL of Lightroom's latest and most valuable features in all modules. Thanks CL for bringing Jared Platt to us, and please bring more of his great classes soon.
I think Tiffany is good at explaining it so those who arent pro photgraphers can start at the basics to learn photoshop. I really liked watching this even tho my vision is in another direction, I like how she explains how to get there in photoshop. She makes it not so scary to jump in. She is clever mom too, every parent wants their own kids to be a star and she surely did that. What a neat thing to "scrapbook" the photos. I liked learning adjustment layers, would like more in curves too. But great place to start out in ps. I recommend if your lost in PS.
I'm a photographer. I do a lot of graphic design for my business. I feel like I'm fairly knowledgeable. I saw this class being shown for free on Creative Live one day and it wasn't my first choice to watch, but was the best out of the list... I was wrong. This is a great class. I didn't expect to learn that much and I've been learning a lot! Great info!
Meagan shows you all you need to know to get started carving your own rubber stamps. Her explanations are clear and easy to understand, and her enthusiasm is contagious!
Meagan gives you some basics on how to make a negative and a positive stamp. She makes it look so easy. I can't wait to try it. I watched the free version. Thanks. I didn't hear or see what to use to connect the stamp to the wood. Did anyone hear this?
Thank you Meaghan for the overview and demonstration for how to carve stamps. I am completely new to learning how to carve so this class was very helpful!
Watched a little of this and was disappointed by her frequent mumbling, making it impossible to understand quite a bit of what she was saying. I didn't find her ideas very innovative but didn't watch the whole thing.
I've taken both of Stephenie Hamen's classes on Creative Live. She's a great teacher, and I thoroughly enjoyed the class.
I’m new to this type of scrapbooking. All I can say is how impressed I am with the organization of this class and how she teaches. It is very easy and non-intimidating. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge Tiffany!
This guy is great - very personable and gets to the point. I'm listening to the free version. I take ceramics and can use some of these techniques in ceramics class. I like the fact that he's friendly and funny while being respectful to the students and *not* telling the stories of his life.
I just bought this whole class by Tiffany after watching for 1/2 an hour. I have taken and quickly forgotten other college photoshop classes. I clearly understood what she was doing and saying. Whew! To build knowledge on something I already do (scrap booking ), made the context to learn so much easier.
Becky Higgins is awesome! I'm particularly fond of the digital and app scrapping she has now. This class gives so many ideas and ways to make things simpler and just work (and work fast). For the reviews that say she talks to much about Project Life... well it is titled "Scrapbooking with Project Life" so if you're not into it, then maybe this isn't for you. Although I would say there are fun ideas in here even if you don't do pocket scrapbooking styles.
Overall, I learned some fun techniques and enjoyed Megan's voice and informal speaking style. I am also, a 'design/learn as you do' crafter, so I found this style relatable, however, as a craft teacher I do know that for others this can be frustrating. I agree with some of the other reviewers that she lacked sufficient knowledge about textiles for this presentation. This is a great place to start learning about creating your own stamps.
Tiffany is a great communicator and an awesome instructor. She made the complicated easy to understand, Bravo!!!
Nice class. I got some inspiration on how to try out some new things with my paper making tools. Very nice tutor.
