I am crying for the second day during after watching this wonderful class on air and almost every minute of it I had "eureka" moments - as if a wise friend who knows me very deeply was answering EVERY SINGLE question and filling voids of now knowing "why and how" about life and myself, my personality I had and could never answer since early childhood and why it was incredibly difficult for me to be in an uncomfortable environment and to finish things I started - to the point of physical pain and don't get me started on lost opportunities that were really big and unbelievable. Now as an adult with five diplomas including degrees (two of them in psychology) and certificates I realize everything Dr Markman said better not happen. His very tactful and gentle approach felt so good I am already living my first day after the course differently. The girl who shared that she felt tired after the market - this is me as well. But today I feel my life will never be the same after this class - I don't even remember every single "eureka" insight, but I feel an unprecedented amount of completed "Gestalts" i.e. resolved tensions of uncertainty of not knowing what's been happening and how to make it better. This is the exact effective gentle approach that will move mountains for me. After all this new, fresh and unbelievable transformation in just 24 hours, how could I not purchase the class? Wow. I am only four lessons into this class and I feel I have already received my money's worth. Not about habits in the way I initially expected. More about effective learning and how people sabotage themselves in how they learn and try to pass on information, with concrete examples of what to do instead. I guess these are the "habits" in the title. There may be other applications in future lectures, but to me, they are gravy on an already satisfying meal.
It's a great in-depth course on how to stop sabotaging your self to creating better behaviors. It talks about the psychology behind habit building, and usefull tips to change behaviors.

It would be really interesting to see Art take an individual through this process in real time. From the beginning of reviewing a habit for two weeks through to making goals to finally the outworking of these tasks. Just an idea!
This class started off a bit slow, with the professor teaching us how to learn, so to speak, but it quickly picked up. He gave practical tips and is a likable fountain of information. I watched this class as part of an "all-access" pass, but intend to buy it when it goes on sale so I can watch it after my pass expires.
This class has a ton of material. I'll go through it more than once. I learned some key points from this class that I'm excited to try. Definitely worth it to purchase.
Wow. Very engaging, entertaining, and enlightening. Art Markman is so much fun to watch and listen to during the entire 3 day class. His brain dump has zero fluff. The concentration of so much information is incredible, and how he gets it into your head is mind boggling. He's whipped my brains into a spongy soufflé. I am so happy I discovered this class. A simple, no nonsense approach on how to form a habit. Well structured lecture. And I could listen to Mr. Markman for an extra hour .. just to enjoy the way he teaches. Thank you!
There are many things that can be said about success, but it really boils down to habits. What we do every day, consciously or subconsciously, are the causes that result in the effects sculpting our life. As beneficial as many of the courses on Creative Live are, none of them will pay off if they don't impact our habits. Not just a great course, but a mandatory one to make the others happen. Art's presentation is easy to understand, well expressed, and incredibly useful. Remember his sax playing. What is it you want to accomplish, and what habits do you need to exchange?
Unfortunately I couldn't watch the whole live broadcast but I was totally glued to the TV for longer than I was able to be. I'm definitely buying this one! A very nice surprise to my day. Thanks Art.

Ditto to all the positive reviews here! For me - life changing. Breaking bad habits takes effort, understanding how the brain works makes it easier for me. I've bought a few CL classes and only watched bits of most, while this one I've watched completely, and most segments several times!
A lot of the ideas he presents are simply common sense, he's just stating the obvious and finding a very elaborate way to do that. He's just unnecessarily over-complicating simple ideas.

Wonderful course material entertainingly (but seriously) presented by Dr. Markman. In addition to learning lots of immediately useful tips and techniques, I took away a much improved attitude. Dr. Art rocks! creativeLIVE would do well to have him back again for other courses.
This is my first CreativeLive course and it won't be the last. I've definitely have been able to learn some new things about myself, but also, I've been able to define some of the things I thought I new about myself. Thanks to CL and Dr. Art for helping me feel like I can finally take my business to the next stage without second guessing the outcome. Worth every penny.
