Become a Working Artist with Lisa Congdon

Lisa is naturally an incredible teacher, I have learnt tons in this course and I finally feel brave enough to start investing more of my time in my creative business. Although some information can now be considered a little outdated (this was recorded in 2014 therefore the landscape of social media changed a lot), this course is still super relevant. I can't recommend this highly enough.

I love it so much! I am an Artist in Progress and the course help he so much to clarify my path and think and plan the next decisions I need to make to start building my career. Lisa was so fun and clear with her recommendations and so generous sharing her experiences. I love her!

Terrific class with plenty of practical (and actionable) material. Lisa has a no nonsense approach and is a good teacher. She shares her experience generously but does not encourage an "imitation" approach. She equips you with the tools that you need to make your own way.

Lisa is lovely!!! I really enjoyed this course and watched it while I was working on a painting commission. I am a working artist, so much of what she had to say I was already familiar with, but there were still some nuggets in the interviews that were very helpful. Lisa's first-hand experiences were very interesting, and I could definitely relate to the various aspects she talked about how to make a living through art. I plan to incorporate some of her solutions and ideas into my art business. I would suggest this course to anyone who is an aspiring or working artist, lots of value!!!! Lisa is an incredibly talented artist and instructor. Even though I'm a photographer, I found this class to be the perfect overview for art business fundamentals. She answered many questions I've had to which I've come across so many different answers that it can be confusing to sift through all the information. I feel more confident about getting my photography business together armed with this information.

Lisa is such a talented artist that it's an honor to learn from her. If you're an artist, you should absolutely watch this course!

Such a great informative class! Many art biz topics are covered and I feel like I now have a better grasp of where, when, and how to share my work for maximum return!

This course had a lot of useful, practical information coming from a down-to-earth instructor. I like how Lisa seems like more of a partner in helping you become successful rather than preaching what worked for her. Although the tasks to becoming a successful artist might seem overwhelming I found that all I really needed to do was tweak what I already had going and be consistent. Immediately I was able to put what I learned from the course into action and saw results on my social media right away. Thanks for helping me find the clarity and motivation to practice my art full-time.

This is an incredibly helpful class for anyone who feels intimidated by all the "giants" in the land of art, and wonders if it's really worth keeping trying to make money from their talent. Lisa breaks everything down into manageable steps, while not dumbing things down. Her manner is very approachable, so that you can imagine yourself doing what she does. Her generous spirit means too that she is sharing really useful stuff - not just some fluff, and keeping all the good ideas for herself! I've used this to help an artist I work with and have made more headway, using these steps, than the artist herself has made for years. Can't reccommend this highly enough! Great value for money.

I enjoyed this class and gained valuable information from it. I also found that it had much less fluff and 'inspirational' jabber than many CreativeLive courses.

I found this class so inspirational and informative. Lisa delivers in a way that's not intimidating although she is such a successful artist. I'm so glad I bought this class and already want to watch it all over again. She explains the differences and similarities between a fine artist and licensing artist so well, and really helped me figure out a clear path for myself.
