Book Yourself Solid & Get More Clients with Michael Port

Evergreen content! Absolutely loved it!

Just checked out this class to see if it would be helpful to what i'm doing and ended up getting hooked to the information being presented, the organization and digestibility in which it was presented in, and Michael Port's delivery of his information. I highly recommend this course for help with Sales and Marketing development.

This is an amazing course, this is what a lot of marketers are teaching but with even more clarity and with his personal systems added that help with your work in the world. This information is so easy and clear, he takes you step by step, and the workbook is essential and extensive and easy and fun to follow, I've been listening over and over again, because there is just so much info that you have to hear it numerous times, at least I did, if you follow all the steps this course is better than courses that cost thousands of dollars. And he's a great presenter!

I would recommend this for most. I loved listening to Michael but as a photographer I felt a lot of his applications and exercises did not apply. I heard reference to "Wedding Photography" more times than I would have liked. Since Creative Live is such a big photography learning site; I would have liked to hear more reference to where this would work say for a Day In The life, Pet or fine art photographer. I suppose just more photography relation's would have been nice. All in all I had fun doing the exercises and there was a lot of phenomenal info in these videos. I'll be watching them again soon.

I'm almost halfway through this course now and there's a lot of *great* information in it, but I'm struggling to work out how it all fits together. Michael is engaging but a bit too excitable. He keeps jumping around from topic to topic: there are six core self-promotion strategies, four modules to book yourself solid, four principles of likeability, four different types of benefits, six keys to creating connection, a five-stage sales cycle... So many numbered lists, but no clear framework that shows how all these things relate to each other. The delivery is *very* heavily geared toward auditory learning. Ironically (since Michael is "the guy you call when you're tired of thinking small") I'm really struggling to see the big picture. What I really need is a visual aide that shows how each component relates to all the other components. Even the studio audience is obviously confused by the jumping around between topics, and they struggle to give the kinds of answers Michael is looking for. A lot of the positive reviews here are from people who already read the book, so I'm considering abandoning the course and reading the book instead. The BYS system seems sound, and all the little bits of information are interesting and helpful, even if I can't yet see how they relate to each other.

Excellent course: I have been following Michael Port for some time as I really like his style and method (not pushy, slimey marketing/sales practices). This 3 days workshop is the ideal companion to the BYS book. It explains in more details how the 4 parts of the BYS work in practice. Michael Port is very smart, entertaining and knowledgeable. I found the "live" exercises very helpful in order to focus on the different areas of the BYS model. The only two drawbacks are the focus on the photographers market (I would have preferred more examples aimed to business consultants) and the videos taking ages to load - they keep on stopping, getting reloaded, getting stuck (this is a problem with the Creative Live platform though, not with the excellent content of this workshop).

Michael Port is a true thought leader. I absolutely loved this class and am working to implement what I learned. It has peaked my interest in becoming a Booked Solid coach.

Fantastic overview of the system. I read the book and listened to the audio, but this really puts it together for me. Michael is a great presenter, and the audience participation was really good. It was helpful to watch people go through the exercises as they went along. I'll be watching this one again.

Michael is EXCELLENT. I'm frustrated with Creative, though, because the class input logged in Creative's Facebook Site is Not accessible. I called Creative for help, and nobody answers the phone. I went to the Facebook site yesterday and still don't have an answer to my questions. COURSE is great. I really need persuading to take another course via Creative.

This has been one of my favorite courses to-date. I felt it was packed with well thought out information that was very easy to apply and I was left feeling energized. I even joined networking groups to start filling me in my Network of 90 bucket. It's also a course that I still come back to refresh ideas and concepts with. I hope you are able to bring him back again. I love Michael Port!

I have reed over 30 business books and i have own some creative live business seminars.... BUT, I have not seen anyone as powerfull as MP.... I was so impress that did buy his book BYS, also BehondBS, BYS Illustrated and also did buy the seminar.... and every single time my mind blow away...... MP and CL change how my business is growing

This was an EXCELLENT 3 days. His style is superb and the content is outstanding.

As Michael said, "the difference between an average business and a great business is how organized they are." Thanks to Michael and CreativeLIVE, I finally feel like I have something to hang my hat on that will get me from A-Z in getting my photography business running. You took the fear and confusion out of finding my clients and knowing how to book the business once I find them. I am so glad I bought this program. I am sure I will return to it over and over again. Not to mention, I got half way through the sessions and just had to go out and buy the book, also. CreativeLIVE, once again, you knocked this one out of the park. Thanks again!

What marvelous three days those were! Michael Port is unbelievably generous and nice. A real blessing to the folks in the studio audience and us at home. I watched all three days, but felt compelled to own the videos as well, because it's by practicing and revisiting this content that we can all get booked solid. I want also say that Antonio and Kenna were great hosts. Book Yourself Solid has been my mantra for the last month and I hope it continues to be for years and years to come.
