Joey L. is a Canadian-born photographer and director based in Brooklyn, New York. Since the age of 18, Joey's work has been consistently sought out by a number of prominent advertising clients, including Lavazza for their 2016 calendar, National Geographic Channel, U.S. Army, Canon, Jose Cuervo, Summit Entertainment, History Channel, The Government of Abu Dhabi, and many others. He has photographed a number of recognizable faces including Robert De Niro, Danny DeVito, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, John Legend, Dylan McDermott, Karlie Kloss, Author John Green, and two-time Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas to name a few. His work is regularly seen in magazines, subway advertisements, and billboards.

    JoeyL gives some great nuggets of information in this short class, if you are in the stages of creating or editing your portfolio. Definitely will revert back to this class to remind myself to really focus and choose why I want things in my portfolio and for whom. He does cover his portfolio in his Commercial Photography, although I like this as an addition to that and he goes into different detail regarding his portfolio and how he 'chats' and sells his portfolio to his clients. I will agree that it may be a bit highly priced for most people and perhaps that money can go towards other classes (depending on what they are needing to learn and invest in first), I waited till I had gotten the other classes I needed first and then waited for when this course was on sale! Glad I got it :-)
